`, '.. ,, .. CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS AMENDED MINUTES-JANUARY 4, 1989 Chairman Bugala called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. Present: B. Grace, J. Helon, T. Restifo, and R. Bugala Absent: R. Gomersall Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner D. Conway, and Clerk of Commissions B. Oring. J. Helon moved to accept the minutes of November 2, 1988 as submitted, seconded by B. Grace, and unanimously approved. Hennie Homes, Inc. Sublot 39, 29189 Quail Run Request extension of special permit to keep construction trailer on vacant lot. Special permission required Ord. 87-93, Section 1123.06(a). (Special permit granted for 6 months on April 6, 1988). Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered to Mr. Welke, representing Hennie Homes, who explained that they would prefer to lceep the trailer until the end.of the summer at which time their construction should be comnleted. He explained that the trailer was also used for security to stop vandalism. Mr. Grace believed that the permit should only be granted for 6 more months and by that time they would have a better idea of how long it would be needed. B. Grace moved to approve the extension of the special permit to to keep a contruction trailer on a vacant lot for 6 months (June 4, 1989) for Hennie Homes, sublot 39, 29198 Quail Run, seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously approved. Special permit granted. North Olmsted Assembly of God Church, 3874 Columbia Road Request for variance (1123.12). Request 1 foot height variance for fence. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02-h1. (Continued from October 5, 1988). Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered to Mr. Pierson, representing the church, and to Mr. Folley, the adjacent neighbor who requested that the church put up the fence. Mr. Pierson explained that the church parking lot is lower than Mr. Folley's property and a 5 foot fence would not help shield his house from the car lights. J. Helon moved to grant the request for a.variance by North olmsted Assembly of God Chureh at 3874 Columbia Road for a 1 foot height variance for a fence, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. 1. P'[r. and rfrs. Albert Bukovich, 27363 Clinton Dr. Request for variance (1123.12). Request 34 foot rear yard variance to install patio enclosure. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.08(a). Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered to Mr. and Mrs. Bukovich, owners, and Mr. Benton, representing Patio Enclosures, Inc. It was explained that the vacant property to the rear belonged to the Board of Education. Board has no objection to the request. B. Grace moved to grant.the variance for Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bukovich, 27263 Clinton Drive, for a 34 foot rear yard variance to install a patio enclosure, seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. 2. Mayridge Podiatry, 4579 Great Northern Blvd. Request for variance (1123.12). Request 13.38 sq. ft. variance for total sign area to install window sign. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1163.06(d).
