`, '.. ,, .. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />AMENDED MINUTES-JANUARY 4, 1989 <br />Chairman Bugala called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />Present: B. Grace, J. Helon, T. Restifo, and R. Bugala <br />Absent: R. Gomersall <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner D. Conway, and <br />Clerk of Commissions B. Oring. <br />J. Helon moved to accept the minutes of November 2, 1988 as submitted, <br />seconded by B. Grace, and unanimously approved. <br />Hennie Homes, Inc. Sublot 39, 29189 Quail Run <br />Request extension of special permit to keep construction trailer on vacant lot. <br />Special permission required Ord. 87-93, Section 1123.06(a). <br />(Special permit granted for 6 months on April 6, 1988). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Welke, representing Hennie Homes, who explained that they <br />would prefer to lceep the trailer until the end.of the summer at which time <br />their construction should be comnleted. He explained that the trailer was <br />also used for security to stop vandalism. Mr. Grace believed that the permit <br />should only be granted for 6 more months and by that time they would have a <br />better idea of how long it would be needed. B. Grace moved to approve the <br />extension of the special permit to to keep a contruction trailer on a vacant <br />lot for 6 months (June 4, 1989) for Hennie Homes, sublot 39, 29198 Quail Run, <br />seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously approved. Special permit granted. <br />North Olmsted Assembly of God Church, 3874 Columbia Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 1 foot height variance for fence. <br />Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02-h1. (Continued from October 5, 1988). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Pierson, representing the church, and to Mr. Folley, <br />the adjacent neighbor who requested that the church put up the fence. Mr. <br />Pierson explained that the church parking lot is lower than Mr. Folley's <br />property and a 5 foot fence would not help shield his house from the car <br />lights. J. Helon moved to grant the request for a.variance by North olmsted <br />Assembly of God Chureh at 3874 Columbia Road for a 1 foot height variance for <br />a fence, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. <br />1. P'[r. and rfrs. Albert Bukovich, 27363 Clinton Dr. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 34 foot rear yard variance to install <br />patio enclosure. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.08(a). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. and Mrs. Bukovich, owners, and Mr. Benton, representing <br />Patio Enclosures, Inc. It was explained that the vacant property to the rear <br />belonged to the Board of Education. Board has no objection to the request. <br />B. Grace moved to grant.the variance for Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bukovich, 27263 <br />Clinton Drive, for a 34 foot rear yard variance to install a patio enclosure, <br />seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />2. Mayridge Podiatry, 4579 Great Northern Blvd. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 13.38 sq. ft. variance for total sign <br />area to install window sign. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1163.06(d).
