Gomersall, J. Helon, T. Restifo, and R. Bugala <br />Absent: B. Grace <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner Conway, and <br />Clerk of Commissions Oring. <br />R. Gomersall moved to accept the minutes as they stand for the August 2, 1989 <br />meeting, seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously approved. <br />Chairman Bugala advised those present that onl_y 4 members are present and <br />it takes three affirmative votes to approve a request. <br />Pheasants Run Retail Center (Hennie Homes), 28867 Lorain Road <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request continuance of 120 square foot <br />variance for temporary leasing sign. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section <br />1163.06(e)5. (Original variance granted January 4, 1989). Request continued <br />from meeting of August 2,. 1989. <br />No representative was present. Building Commissioner Conway advised that <br />the Engineering Department had advised verbally that the ditch had not been <br />cleaned nor had the fence been installed. t4re Restifo stated that he had <br />talked with two councilmen who advised that the developer was not cooperating. <br />It was decided to delay the request until the end of the meeting in case a <br />representative arrived later. <br />1. Jack Veronico, 23650 Cedarwood Lane <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 2 foot side yard variance for <br />location of tool shed. Violation.of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02(d). <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was, administered to Mr. Veronico who explained that he replaced an existing <br />shed on the existing pad. He did not know that he needed a permit or that <br />he had to be 5 feet from the side property line. He presented pictures of <br />the old shed. R. Bugala moved to grant the 2 foot side yard variance for <br />location of the tool shed, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. <br />2. Ameritrust, 26091 Brookpark Road (Great Northern Shopping Center). <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 129.07 square foot variance for sign <br />area to install signage on new drive-up ATM (adjacent to existing drive <br />??- through building). Violation of.Ord. 87-93, Section 1163.06. <br />No representative was present. It was decided to delay the hearing until <br />later in the meeting. R. Bugala moved that this request be deferred until <br />later in the meeting, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. <br />• 3. Penny L. Sisson, 23499 Alexander <br />Request for variance (1123.12)., Request 3 foot side yard variance, 17 foot <br />rear yard variance9 and 8 foot total side yard variance to construct garage <br />(to be attached to house by breezeway). Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section <br />1135.02-(c)2. (Refers to 1135.07 and 1135.08). .
