ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Burk called the meeting to order at 7:40 p.m. <br />Present: J. Kazak, J. Konold, B. Schulz, and R. Burk <br />Absent: D. Spoerke <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner Conway and Clerk of Commissions <br />Oring. <br />II. REVIEW ANID CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />J. Kazak moved to approve the minutes o€ April 26, 1990 as presented, <br />seconded by J. Konold, and unani.mously approved. <br />III. COMMUNICATIONS: <br />No items. <br />N. HEARINGS: <br />1) Ben K. Wright, property located on the east side of Porter Road, north of <br />5205. <br />Request permission to move house from 4863 Dover Center Road to permanent <br />parcel 232-10-47 Porter Road. Hearing Required Ord. 62-224. Also -- <br />request 42± squa.re foot variance for area of house (1,060 square foot <br />required in "B" district). Violation of Section 1334.09 of the Building <br />Code. (Variance also required from Board of Zoning Appeals to be heard <br />on July 11, 1990). <br />Chairman Burkk administered the oath to Mr. P. Gareau, attorney <br />representing Mr. Wright, and Mr. F. Hatton, neighbor. Mr. Gareau <br />explained that the two story brick house is now located on the east side <br />of Dover Center Road and Mr. Wright is proposing to move the house to the <br />second lot north of the business on the east side of Porter Road. Mr. <br />Wright also moved the house which is south of this property. The lot <br />onto which this house is to be moved is 85 feet wide by 115 feet deep, <br />and the house has an outside dimension of 1,096 square foot, but.because <br />it is brick on block, the livable area is about 42 square feet less than <br />required. He explained that a variance will also be required from the <br />Board of Zoning appeals and because of the depth of the lot it would <br />never be buildable without a variance. It was clarified that the house <br />was' being moved from the General Retail District to a"B" Residential <br />area. Mr. Hatton explained that previously there was a proposal to <br />rezone this property to General Retail, but it was denied. The clerk read <br />a letter from Rosemary Jenne, owner of the property to the rear and to <br />the north, advising that she has no objection to the request. Mr. Schulz <br />pointed out that there is an area on the rear adjacent to a room which <br />projects out, where an addition could be constructed to pick up the <br />additional square footage.
