The oath was
administered to Mr. Papandreas, Biskind Development Company, who explained
that they will be renovating the parking lot this year and would like to
have the parking spaces at a 650 angle which is not covered under the code.
The present plan that was approved by Planning Commission show spaces stripped
at 90°, but everything else will remain as approved. Mr. Bugala believed
that this could create a traffic problem since one way traffic might make it
necessary for, drivers to travel around more to find a parking space. He also
questioned if this should not have to go back to Planning Commission. Air.
Helon and Pir. Gomersall believe that this is superior to 90 degree angle
parlcing with two lanes of traffic. R. Gomersall moved to grant the request
for a variance to have 65 degree angle parking for Biskind Development Company,
Great Northern Mall, seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously apnroved. Variance
granted.
