i <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES- FEBRUARY 7, 1990 <br />Chairman Bugala called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. <br />Present: R. Gomersall, J. riei6n, m: RP-*..;.fo, and R. Bugala <br />Absent: B. Grace <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner Conway and Clerk of Commissions Oring <br />J. Helon moved to accept the minutes of December 6, 1989 as written, seconded <br />by R. Gomersall, and unanimously approved. <br />Charles Boguski, 27593 Laurell Lane <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request 92 square foot variance, 6 foot 8 <br />inrh height variance and location variance for combination tool shed/playhouse. <br />ViolativL: ^f Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.05=(d)1. (Continued at meeting of <br />December 6, 1989). <br />Chairman Bugala advised that Mr. Boguski has withdrawn this request until the <br />next meeting. <br />Great Northern Corporate Center, 25000 Country Club Blvd. - <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request to continue variance for temporary <br />leasing sign over 4 square feet and to continue 'variance to have 2 signs on <br />, property. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1163.05-c-1. (Please note: signs <br />are located on vacant property on the south side of Country Club Blvd across <br />from the Corporate Center and adjacent to I-480)o Original variance granted <br />on January 6, 1988 and continued on February l, 1989. <br />Chairman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Mize, Biskind Development Company, who advised that they <br />were requesting the continuance for 1 year. Members voiced no objections. <br />R. Gomersall moved to grant the request to continue the variance for temporary <br />leasing signs over 4 square feet and to continue variance to have 2 signs on <br />property for a period of one year, seconded by J. Helon, and.unanimously <br />approved. Variances granted. <br />1. C: & C. Realty Company, property located on the north side of Lorain Road, <br />east of 30406. <br />Request for variance (1123.12). Request variance to display automobiles in <br />front 50 foot setback (behind 10 foot landscape buffer adjacent to Lorain Road). <br />Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1139.03. <br />Chairman Bugala had greviously advised that this proposal had been withdrawn <br />by the developer. <br />2. Michael Galati (Galati's Auto Service), 27539 Lorain Road <br />Request for special permit to add to non-conforming building. Special permis- <br />sion required Ord. 87-93, Section 1165.02(b)1. (Previous special permit was <br />granted April 10, 1986 and has expired). <br />C hai.rman Bugala called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to. Mr. Galati. who explained that the special permit was approved
