CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MINUTES-DECIIHBER 11, 1991 Chairman Gomersall called the meeting to order at 7:30 pem. Present: J. Maloney, T. Restifo, and R. Gomersall Absent: B. Grace and W. Purper Also Present: Law Director Gareau, Building Commissioner Conway and Clerk of Commissions Oring. J. rialoney moved to accept the Minutes of November 7, 1991 as presented, seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously approved. Chairman Gomersall advised the applicants that there are only 3 members present and since it takes three affirmative votes to approve a proposal, anyone who wisHes to withdraw tmtil the next meeting which will be in February should do so at this time. He cautioned that if a proposal is disapproved, the applicant must either wait one year to re-apply or the request must be reduced by 25%. Since this is the last meeting of the year, Mr. Restifo stated that on behalf of himself and the other members, he would like to publicly thank Mr. Gareau, Mr. Conway, and Mrs. Oring for all the help that has been given. Jose h L. DeSalvo 4666 Brendan Circle. Request for variance (1123a12 . Request 184 square foot variance and 5 inch height variance for tool shed. Violation of Ord. 87-93, Section 1135.02(d)-1 & 3. Tabled at meeting of November 7, 1991. Chairman Gomersall called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered to Mr. DeSalvo, Ms. Wasil, next door neighbor, and her father Mr. Wasil. Mr. DeSalvo explained that in order to keep the gambrel roof he must still request a 5 inch height variance which has been reduced from the previous 4 foot variance. He explained that the shed will be stained to match his house. Ms. Wasil and her father agreed that this height is more acceptable than the previous request. T. Restifo moved to grant the request of Joseph L. DeSalvo at 4666 Brendan Circle for a 184 square foot variance and a 5 inch height variance for a tool shed, seconded by J. The oath was administered to Mrm Self and Mr. Hayward, sign contractors representing B.P. Oil Companye Mr. Self presented elevations of the signage and explained that the logos requested are the only logo allowed the property. He further stated for the record, if any other type of sign (beer, coke, etco) is installed that he is to be notified and the signs will be removed inunediatelya Both this signage policy and the logos are part of the re-imaging program to keep all stations throughout the country the same.
