0 CITY OF NORTIi OLMSTED PLANNING COMNIISSION MINUTES- APRIL 14, 1992 7:00 p.m. I. ROLL CALL: Chairman Gorris called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. Present: R. Bowen, L..Orlowski, A. Skoulis, and B. Gorris. Mr. Tallon arrived at 8:20 p.m. Absent: T. Morgan and J. Thomas. Also Present: City Engineer Deichmann, Assistant Law Director Dubelko, Building Commissioner Conway, and Clerk of Commissions Oring. II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES Regardi.ng the minutes of March 24th, Mr. Gorris corrected a typographical error on page 8, 13th line from the bottom, second word should read feeling, not felling. B. Gorris moved to approve the minutes of March 24, 1992 as noted, seconded by A. Skoulis, and unanimously approved. III. BUILDING DEPARTMIIQT REQUESTS: 1) Rini's Supermarket #11, 23100 Lorain Road. Proposal to construct an addition to the front of the store. Heard by Architectural Review Board March 18, 1992.. Mr. Draeger, architect, presented plans which had been approved - by the Architectural Review Board with the recommendation that the brick must match the Px;sting brick. Chairman Gorris stated that Mr. Draeger ha.d sent him a letter (see attached) regarding complaints of Mr. Holmok, a neighbor, which listed the various concerns of all the neighbors and advising the owners of the problems. No residents were present. L. Orlowski moved that Rini's Supermarket nunber 11, 23100 Lorain Road, the proposal to construct an addition on the front of the store be approved and also entering in the letter tha.t was received from Rini's and Mr. Draeger and conditioned upon the requirements of the A.R.B., seconded by R. Bowen, and unanimously approved. 2) Rini's Supermarket #2, 4700 Great Northern Blvd. Proposal to construct addition to front of store. Heaxd by Architectural Review Board Maxch 18, 1992 Mr. Draeger, architect, presented revised plans reflecting the recoirnnendations of the Architectural Review Board which required that -the entire canopy over the Rini's store be green. It was clarified that this would be a dark hunter green, not a"BP" green. The canopies on either side will.be white. L. Orlowski moved tha.t Rini's Supermarket Number 2, 4700 Great Northern Boulevard,. proposal to construct addition to front of store,. be approved and that the same letter that was submitted for store rnnnber 11 be included with store rnnnber 2 and conditioned upon the recommendations of the Architectural Review Board as fax as color, etc. and with the propensity to look at landscapi.ng with the wideriilg of Great Northern is being,done, seconded by A. Skoulis, and imanimously approved. 3) North 0]msted Nissan/Oldsmobile,. 28500 Lorain Road Proposal to construct additions to showroom, and pa.rts and service departments.- Heard by Architectural Review Board Ma.rch 18, 1992. 1
