<br />y- <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES-SEPTIIKBER 22, 1992 <br />I: ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Gorris called the meeting to order at 7:13 p.m. <br />Present: J. Bowen, L. Orlowski, K. 0'Rourke, A. Skoulis, J. Thomas, and <br />B. Gorris. <br />Absent: R. Tallon. <br />Also Present: Councilman Lind, Assistant Law Director Dubelko, City Engineer <br />Deichmann, Building Coirmzissioner Conway, and Clerk of Commissions <br />Oring. <br />II. REVIEW ANID CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />Mr. Bowen pointed out that the minutes of August 31st did not show that Chairman <br />Gorris was present. R. Bowen moved to approve the minutes of August 31, 1992 as <br />corrected and the minutes of June 1, 1992 and September 8, 1992 as presented, <br />seconded by A. Skoulis. Roll call on motion: Bowen, Skoulis, Orlowski, Thomas, <br />and Gorris, yes. Mrs. 0'Rourke abstained. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMIINT REQUESTS: <br />No items. <br />N. NENT DEVELOPMIIVTTS AND SUBDIVISIONS: <br />No items. <br />V. COMM[TNICATIONS : <br />A copy of a letter from the Ohio Department of Transportation to the mayor <br />regarding the Butternut Ridge Apartment driveway on SR 252 had been sent to Mr. <br />Gorris who requested that copies be sent to all members, the Building <br />Commissioner, and the Assistant Law Director. <br />VI. COMNNRTTEE REPORTS: <br />No items. <br />VII. NEW BUSINESS: <br />No items. <br />VIII. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Continuing Study of the North Olmsted Master Plan. <br />Mr. Schultz, County Planning Commission, advised that tonight's discussion of <br />the Strategic Management Plan will conclude the study and a plan will now be put <br />together in a document which will include maps, tables, etc. Mr. Skoulis would <br />like the members to study the plan prior to the final printing in order to make <br />revisions. He also suggested that the Commission hold a public hearing on this, <br />since he believed that most residents are unaware of these discussions. Mr. <br />Gorris and Mr. Bowen did not agree since the newspapers have written up the <br />discussions and the master plan was voted on at the last election. Mr. Schultz <br />stated that if there were a few minor changes there would probably be no extra <br />cost, but there would be a charge for extensive revisions. The members decided to <br />study the plan prior to sending it on to Council. In reference to the table of <br />Land Use Recommendations that was discussed at the last meeting, County Planning <br />1
