ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Gorris called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: D. Alston, L. Orlowski, K O'Rourke, J. Thomas, and B. Gorris. <br />Absent: P. Miller and R. Tallon. <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director Dubelko, City Engineer Deichmann, <br />and Clerk of Commissions Oring. <br />H. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MIlNUTES: <br />Chairman Gorris advised that the review of minutes will be deferred until the next meeting. <br />N. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISIONS :(Heard at this point). <br />Mr. Deichmann stated that the Law Director and the Service Director have cliscussed some <br />problems with the last item on the agenda, the Carlton Subdivision, and have requested that it be <br />tabled until a later date. The adjacent residents were advised that they would be re-notified when <br />this is to be heard again. <br />1) Barton Oaks Subdivision, Plat. The proposal is to subdivide permanent parcel nos. 233-3-2, 233-3-4 and 233-2-10, located on <br />the north side of Barton Road near the Lorain Cou.nty line, into twenty-two (22) residential <br />sublots and two (2) non-included Bloeks "A" &`B" parcels. Zoning is B-Residence, Single, <br />entirely and all sublots conform to code requirements for frontage and area. Note that the ' <br />prelimiuary plan for this subdivision (proposed 25 sublots and one non-included Block A" was <br />approved by Planning Convnission on 2/23/93). <br />Mr. Boss, ovvuer, explained that the subdivision is off Barton Road and there will be 22 lots that <br />are roughly 80 feet by 160 feet. He clarified that Block "A" is the site of his home and Block "B" <br />belongs to his daughter and son-in-law. City Engineer Deichmann advised that all lots conform to <br />code. Mr. Gorris questioned if they would need variances to build the lots. Mr. Deichmann stated <br />that the lots conform, but a house would have to meet all setback requirements. Mr. Boss advised <br />that Kevin Kelly who building the homes in the subdivision offBradley would probably be <br />building in this subdivision and these homes would probably be the same as his others. Mr. <br />Deichmann advised that the length ofthe cul:de-sac exceeds the 500 feet limit and the Planniug <br />Commission must recommend to council as to whether or not this is acceptable. The resident <br />across the street from the-access drive, Ms. Limpert, is concerned about the traffic since there <br />could be 44 cars coming in aud out of the subdivision. She pointed out where her home is located <br />and advised that there is a lot of traffic on their Barton Road now. The traffic situation might be
