ROLL CALL: <br />Chainnan Zergott called the meeting to order at 5:30. <br />He introduced Mark Yager, a new member of the board. <br />Present: T. Gallagher, S. Krieger, Y. Sohn, M. Yager, and B. Zergott <br />Also Present: Clerk of Commissions Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />T. Gallagher moved to approve the minutes of July 5, 1994 and July 20, 1994, seconded by S. <br />Krieger. Roll call on motion: Gallagher, Krieger, Sohn, and Zergott, yes. Mr. Yager abstained. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />Heard with building plans. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />No items. <br />1. NEW BUSINESS: <br />1) Water Tower Square Shopping Center, to be located on the former Sherwin Williams property <br />(including back land of Cross Roads Automobile Dealership) on Lorain Road, west of Dover <br />Center Road. <br />Heard later in the meeting. <br />2) Ashton Norris Company, 31469 Lorain Road. (Heard at this point.) <br />Review of site plan and landscaping. <br />Referred by Plauuing Coinmission October 11, 1994. <br />Mr. Arnold, president of Ashton Norris, explained that there was an accou.nting business and a <br />direct marketing and packaging business, in the building. At present they are doing some things <br />illegally since they have a loading zone in the front simply because they are landlocked. They did <br />put the dumpster in the back with the permission of the Building Department. They need to install <br />a handicapped parking space and ramp, and to replace the driveway apron. They do have an <br />occasional delivery by semi tractor, but the majority of deliveries are by van, or UPS truck. There <br />is only about 13 feet to the side of the building and they will need a variance to put the drive <br />around to the back, and locate the dumpster in an enclosure in the back. They did agree at <br />Planning Commission to remove the last three spaces on each side of the parking in the rear. Mr. <br />Zergott questioned if the truck would be able to unload the dumpster. At present they are able to <br />unload the dumpster, but it is located on stone, and the truck has to go over the grass. They will <br />also be installing a sidewalk for as a handicapped ramp.
