? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ARCHITECTURAL REVEEW BOARD <br />NIIN[JTES - FEBRUARY 19, 1997 <br />CORRECTED <br />1. ROLL CALL: Acting Chairmau Yager called the meeting to order at 5:40 P.M. <br />Present: T. Gallagher, S. Krieger, T. Liggett, and M. Yager. <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner Conway and Assistant Clerk of Commissions Cornish. <br />II. REVEEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />T. Gallagher motioned to approve the minutes of January 22, 1997 as presented; seconded by M. <br />Yager and unauimously approved. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />No items <br />N. OLD BUSINESS: <br />The architectural review board members discussed the hammerhead proposal from Shore West <br />Construction "briefly. Mr. Gallagher explained Mr. Zergott had some concems about this <br />proposaL He noted any revisions to the landscape plan should be submitted; the subject of the <br />safety department's concerns should be in writing; and the revisions should be addressed from the <br />neighbors perspective. Building Commissioner Conway explained, although there was a request <br />to put a hammerhead in, the plan may still be revised: He believed they have come up with a <br />solution that may work. Originally there was a tear drop cu1 de-sac with a grass island in the <br />center, allowing room to landscape. Mr. Conway continued, the fire department believed if the <br />cul-de-sac is 60 foot in diameter and the grass island is removed the proposal will be acceptable. <br />He noted that, if it is done in this manner, it will be sent through as a minor change. The members <br />requested to be advised of the outcome. V. NEW BUSINESS: <br /> <br />1) Radisson Hotel, 25070 Country Club Blvd. Proposal to construct addition to existing hoteL <br />Amendment to Corporate Center preliminary land use plan approved by planning commission <br />December 10, 1996 and approved by Council December 17, 1996. <br />Referred by planning commission January 28, 1997. <br />Heard by board of zoning appeals February 13, 1997. <br />Mr. Scott, architect and Mr. Childs, contractor presented the proposaL Mr. Scott explained the <br />plan to expand on the existing Radisson Hotel and referenced the book titled "Addition and <br />Renovation to The Radisson HoteL" The addition area will be used for various rooms, a ball <br />room, and a kitchen expansion, a loading dock and expansion of the front lobby area.
