CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ARCHITECTUR.AL BOARD OF REVIEW MINUTES - FEBRUARY 19, 1986 I. ROLL CALL: Chairwoman Case called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. Mr. J. Britton and Mr. D. Pattison were introduced as new members to the Board. Present: J. Britton, M. Case, S. Ebin and D. Pattison Also Present: Building Commissioner S. Spino and Recording Secretary B. Oring. TI. REVIEkT AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: S. Ebin moved to approve the Minutes of January 22, 1986 as presented, seconded by M. Case, and unanimously approved. III. SIGNS: 1) Hampton Inn (Biskind Development Co.), 25105 Country Club Blvd. 3 Wall Signs No representative present at this time, heard later in the meeting. IV. OLD BUSINESS: Deferred until later in the meeting. V. NEW BUSINESS: 1) Laurel's Family Restaurant, 23642 Lorain Rd. Proposal to install walk-in cooler at side of building. Referred from Planning Commission February 11, 1986. Mr. Krykos, the owner, presented plans and stated that rather than paint the cooler, he prefers to install a 6' board on board fence painted to match the building which would enclose the cooler and existing freezer and dumpster. He plans to install the compressor on the building with the other roof top units where it would be partially concealed by the roof line.(two of the existing units wi11 be removed). Mr. Ebin would like the equipment on the roof screened. The top of the cooler will be visible from Lorain Road, Cooler will be a silver stucco patterned (textured) aluminium, Existing freezer is the same color and .I`4r. Pattison believed that the fence would be a more satisfactory solution than paintirig it. He also suggested that access to the dumpster should be large enough and sturdy enough so that it is not damaged by trucks and suggested that the fence should be returned on the western edge of the property. Mr. Krykos pointed out that the adjacent building will screen most of the western side.
