Gomersall, B. Grace, and C. Remmel <br />Absent: J. Helon ' <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner S. Snino, and <br />Clerk of Commissions B. O.ring. <br />R. Bugala moved to approve the Minutes of October 6, 1986 as written, <br />seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously. approved. <br />Gerald J. LaBanc, 4496 Dover Center Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 343 sq. ft. variance for garage area <br />to install patio off existing detached garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, <br />Section 1151.04-C. (Continued from meeting of October 1, 1986). <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. LaBanc who explained that natio will have a shed roof and <br />a lattice on the sides. Lot is 375 feet deep. R. Grace moved to anprove the <br />request for a variance for 343 square foot for garage area to install a patio <br />on the existing detached garage for Gerald J. LaBanc, 4496 Dover Center Rd., <br />seconded by R. Gomersall, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />S. Katonka, 23197 Marion Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 16' front set back variance for- <br />foyer and patio addition. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1159.01. <br />:(Continued from the meeting of October 1, 1986). <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Katonka. Chairman Remmel questioned why vestibule was <br />almost completed. Mr. Kat.onka claimed that an inspector told him that he <br />could go ahead with it. Building Commissioner will check on this. Front <br />set back is non-conforming and a special permit will be required but this is <br />only a 6 foot encroachment. R. Gomersall moved to grant the special permit <br />and the request for a 16' front set b ack variance for foyer and patio addi- <br />tion for Mr. S. Katonka, 23197 Marion Road, seconded by C. Remmel, and unani- <br />mously approved. Variance and special permit granted. <br />1. Tom Rosenb aum, 25734 Kennedy Ridge Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 7.5 foot variance for distance <br />between second story addition (over existing uorch) and detached garage. <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-C. Also request special permit to <br />add to non-conforming dwelling (front set back). Special permission required <br />Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Rbsenbaum who explained that the second story would be over <br />a dining room, not,the porch as,stated on agenda. Board has.no objection to <br />request. B. Grace moved to approve the request for Tom Rosenbaum, 25734 <br />Kennedy Ridge Rd. for 7.5 foot variance for distance between second story
