Bugala, E. Graves, and J. Helon <br />Absent: -R. Gomersall-and C.--Remmel <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau and Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />R. Bugala moved to accept the minutes of March 5, 1986 as written, seconded <br />by R. Helon, and unanimously approved. <br />Galati's Auto Service Center, 27539 Lorain Rd. , <br />Request_for special permit_to_add to_non-conforming building. Special - <br />permit required O.rd.- 62-33, Section - 1231.D3. _. (Continued from. January 2nd. <br />Vice Chairman_Graves- called all interested.parties_before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to •Mr: Galati- and Mr. Wilks; architeet.- This -request ? <br />had been.continued_at the request of the BZD Committee who wanted to re- <br />view plans pxior to the Board's review of the special permit. Revised plans ? <br />reflect BZD's recommendations: 25' landscape area to be installed adjacent <br />to Lorain Road with planting beds at corners of property; "bark brown" <br />chain link-fence to be installed on rear and 50' of westerly property line. <br />Letter dated June 12, 1984 was presented which stated that Mr. Galati's - <br />occupancy was -conditional -upon-the compietion- of -various.items:=-.Mr. Galati <br />replied that most of these__items -wiil be. corrected _with--the new proposal.:---_- _ <br />It was noted that he still has cars parked on the grass. Law Director <br />Gareau suggested enclosing an area with a 6' stockade fence to enclose <br />the cars while they are waiting to be repaired. Mr. Galati a:greed to such <br />an enclosure. Board suggested that some landsraping-be installed in front <br />of chain link fence on remainder of the property line. R. Bugala moved to <br />allow the special permit required to Galati's Auto Service Center at 27539 <br />Lorain Rd. based upon the proposed landscaping as indicated,.also based <br />upon the stipulation that they will provide a stockade fenced area 6' high <br />adjacent to the eastem property line, the southem property line, the <br />total approximate area being 75.05 b_y 56.59; and that vehicles that are non- <br />operable and waiting to.be fixed will be stored in that area; and that all <br />existing violations as cited by the Building Department be satisfied, <br />seconded by J. Helon, and unanimously approved. Special permit granted. <br />1. Charles W. Jones,-26730 Butternut Ridge Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance for location of tool shed. <br />Violation of Ord, 62-33, Section 1151.04-D. <br />Vice Chairman Graves called all interested parties before the Board. Mr. <br />and Mrs. Joens and their neighbors Mr. and Mrs. McFadden spoke in favor <br />of the variance. The shed was installed-without a permit. The size conforms <br />to the ordinance,.but location do.es not _conform:-Mrs. Jones explained that <br />they thought that the builder obtained the permit.- Lot is 300 feet deep and <br />Board has no problem with the location.
