Bierman., B. Gorris, E. Traczyk, J. Wixted, J. Brown, and J. Burns <br />Mr. Morgan arrived at 8:10 p.m. <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, City Engineer J. Schaller, <br />Building Commissioner S. Spino, Council members J. Saringer, <br />R. Tallon, and R. Wilamosky. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />M.r. Goxris amended Page 4, second last line of item 4: motion should read <br />".....pedestrians crossing in many places two main roads..." B. Gorris <br />moved to approve tfie minutes of the March llth Planning Commission meeting <br />as amended, seconded by J. Wixted, and unanimously approved. <br />IZI. BUILDING DEi'ARTMENT ?2EQUESTS : <br />1) Given Storage Bui:lding, 30948 Bradley Rd. <br />Proposal to construct warehouse in Limited Industrial Area. (Previously <br />heard liy'Planning Commission on July 13, 1983). (Re-heard by the Archi- <br />tectural Board of Review on .7anuary 22, 1986). <br />This-proposal was originally heard in 1982 but did not get final ap- <br />proval. Storage building will be located approximately 250' from street; <br />is in the Limited Tndustrial area; and will be used for the storage of <br />roofing materials. Plans do not include paved parking spaces (7 required); <br />paved driveway; or retention system. Mr. Given operates business from <br />his home on the same property and only employs his sons; however, a sub- <br />sequent owner could possiti.ly need employee parking. This proposal must <br />conform to code or be referred to'-the Board of Zoning Appeals for a var- <br />iance. Mr. Hevelone of Timber Trails Home Qwner Association advised the <br />Commission; of the lack of water pressure in this area and the possibility <br />of insufficient f3re protection for this type business and also had <br />concerns regarding the increased truck traffic on Bradley Roade Chair- <br />man Burns stated the the Fire Department would have to approve proposal <br />prior to a building permit being issued. Mr. Farver and Mr. Dorn, owners <br />of industrial property on Bradley Rd, objected to the residential neigh- <br />bors opposition since a portion of their subdivision had been rezoned <br />to res-idential-and owners in the Limited Inudstrial area had been against <br />the rezoning at the timeo Mr. Dorn stated that he has been advised that <br />he cannot develop- his praperty residentially-and now there is opposition <br />to industrial development. Mrs. Szabo,aa resident of Bradley Rd, stated <br />that there is another storage building which is in a state of disrepair. <br />J.
