ROLL CALL: <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />riINUTES - .OCTOBER 14, 1986 <br />Chairman Burns called the meeting to order at 8:15 p.m. <br />Present: R. Bierman, E. Traczyk, J. Brown, and J. Burns. <br />Absent: B. Gorris, T. Morgan, and J. Wixted. <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director Dubelko, City Engineer Schaller, <br />Building Commissioner Spino and Clerk of Commissions Oring. <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />J. Brown moved to accept the Minutes of September 23, 1986 as presented, <br />seconded by E. Traczyk, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />1) Milton's North Coast Bistro,, 26324 Lorain Road <br />Proposal to enclose existing porch.. <br />(Continued from Planning Commission September 23, 1986). <br />Mr. Georgalis, the owner, presented revised plans showing a 7' landscape <br />strip, 58 parking spaces, and 94 seats. Building Commissioner Spino <br />advised that 47 parking spaces would be required. It was pointed out <br />that 7.of the spaces shown would not be viable, however, there would <br />still be excess parking. Assistant Law Director Dubelko questioned if <br />the Building Commissioner had reviewed the Standards for Designing <br />Parking Areas which is mentioned in Section 1212.01-B of the Zoning <br />Code. Mr. Spino advised that he had checked and there were no such <br />standards attached to the original ordinance. In response to Mr. <br />Dubelko's questions, Mr. Spino confirmed that this plan would conform <br />to code pertaining to the size of parking spaces and driveways. E. <br />Traezyk moved to approve the Milton's North Coast Bistro addition at <br />26324 Lorain Road with the proviso that the seating capacity is limited <br />to 94 seats and that there are a minimum of 47 lined parking spaces, <br />seconded by J. Surns, and unanimously approved. <br />2) Christ The King Community, located north of the Olmsted Tap. line, <br />south of 1480 and west off Barton Road. <br />Proposal to construct group home as previously shown on master plan. <br />(Continued from the meeting of September 9, 1986). <br />Withdrawn by the developer until a Iater meeting. <br />3) Great Northern Shopping Center Plaza South <br />Proposal to construct two additions to the rear of Plaza South adjacent <br />to Victoria Lane. (Heard by the Architectural Board of Review Oct. 6, 1986)
