ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Burns called the meeting to order at.-7?:Q, p.m. <br />Present: B. Gorris, E. Traczyk, J. Wixted, J. Brown, and J. Burns <br />Absent: T. Morgan <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building Commissioner E. <br />Gundy, City Engineer J. Schaller, and Recording Secretary <br />B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />The minutes of September were corrected to show that Mr. Wixted was present. <br />J. Wixted moved to approve the minutes of September 24, 1985 as amended, <br />seconded by J. Brocan, and unanimously approved, <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REOUESTS: <br />1) Joe George, 24532 Lorain Rd. Change of occupancy to use existing building as an auto:body shop <br />and proposal to construct an-addition. <br />Mr. Draeger, the architect, explained that the present Rent-A-Heep build- <br />ing will be remodeled and an office addition will be constructed on the <br />front. Because of the existing gra:o front building will have two floors. <br />Twenty nine parking spaces are requlred and thirty three will be pro- <br />vided; parking lot will be repaved; zind retention system is planned. <br />The present concrete block walls wil7. be painted. B. Gorris moved to <br />refer the Joe George request to cowtruct an addition to the Architec- <br />tural.Board of Review, to the Engincering Department for drainage, and <br />to the Safety Department for any input that they might have, seconded <br />seconded by E. Traczyk, and unanimously approved. <br />2) Sohio Pro Care, 4710 Great Northern Blvd. (formerly Superior Muffler). <br />Proposal for addition and alteration to front of proposed automobile <br />repair shop. <br />Mr. Mongello, the architect, Mr. Brown, owner of the property, and <br />Mr. Fillingim, representing Standard Oil, explained that the exterior <br />building will be renovated and a small greenhouse area will be added <br />to the corner. There will be some signage on the building and some <br />landscaping will be installed at the front of the building. Mr. <br />Carlisle of Biskind Development Co, viewed the plans and had no ob- <br />jection. J. Wixted moved to refer !he Sohio Pro Care proposal for an <br />addition and alteration to the froi, of the proposed automobile shop to <br />the Architectural Board of Review -r their review and recommendations, <br />seconded by J. Brown, and unanimou,-;.y approved.
