ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Burns called the Tneeting to order at 8:00 p.m. <br />Present: B, Gorris, T, Morgan, E. Traczyk, J. Wixted, and J. Burns. <br />Absent: J, Brown <br />Also Present; Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building Commissioner <br />E. Gundy, City Engineer J. Schaller, and Recording Secretary <br />B. Oring. <br />II, REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />T. Morgan moved to accept the minutes of November 12, 1984, seconded by <br />B. Gorris, and unanimously approved. <br />Chairman Burns advised that the Vicko Rathbun Subdivision has been withdrawn <br />and that the BZD meeting has been held for November and another meeting <br />has not be rescheduled. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />1) Hoty Enterprises, approximately 24363 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct a two story retail/office building. (This <br />proposal will supercede the previously approved Victory Plaza which <br />was approved as a one story strip shopping center on May 28, 1985) <br />Heard by the Architectural Board of Review November 20, 1985. <br />Architect G. Draeger and owner, Z. Hoty, presented color rendering of <br />the building. The Architectural Board had approved as submitted with <br />the provision that mechanical units be screened-in a horizontal line. <br />Dumpsters may be moved to the rear of the property and will be screened. <br />There are no plans for the C.E.I. lighting in the parking lot. Parking <br />conforms to code and additional parking area can be added if needed. <br />Safety Department had no problem with proposal. J. Wixted moved to <br />approve the proposal for Hoty Enterprises, 24363 Lorain Road to con- <br />struct a two story office/shopping complex incorporating the comments <br />of the Architectural Board of Review relative to the screening of the <br />mechanical units and if dumpsters are moved to the rear of the building <br />they will be screened, seconded by E. Traczyk, and unanimously approved. <br />2) SuperAmerica, 24046 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to add to existing canopy, remodel building facis, and add <br />third island at rear of station. Heard by Architectural Board of Review November 20, 1985. <br />Mr. Human of Ashland Oil Co. presented pictures of proposed facia. <br />Station will now have 12 duel pumps.
