CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - JUNE 6, 1984 <br />Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:30 g.m. <br />Present: R. Bugala, E. Graves, L. Horvath, and C. Remmel <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner E. Gundy and <br />Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />The Minutes of May 2, 1984 were corrected as follows: items 2, 3, and 5, <br />delete "one variance denied"; Page 2, item 4, insert in motion "conditioned <br />upon doors no higher than 8'; Page 3, item 7, line 16 should read "....if <br />Board establishes a building line...". L. Horvath moved to approve the <br />Minutes of May 2, 1984 as corrected, seconded by E. Graves, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />Chairman Remmel read letter which will be sent to residents whose house <br />numbers are not displayed according to code. He pointed out the reasons <br />_ why proper house numbers are necessary. . <br />1. James Stannert, 4595 Columbia Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 200 sq. ft. variance for garage <br />area. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-C. (856 sq. ft. gar.age <br />existing - 106 sq. ft. variance granted on July 1, 1981). <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. J. Stannert. Board has no questions regarding <br />proposal. L. Horvath moved to grant the variance, seconded by E. Graves, <br />and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />2. Moorad Rabah, 3827 Dover Center Rd. <br />/Request for special permit. Request special permit to add to non-conforming <br />? dwelling (front set back). Special permission required Ord. 62-33, Section <br />V 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. Rabah. R. Bugala moved to approve the special <br />permit to add to a non-conforming dwelling, seconded by E. Graves, and <br />unanimously approved. Special permit granted. <br />3. Robert Burk, 4702 Grace Rd. <br />?Request for variance (1133.13). Request 4'8" variance for distance between <br />addition and garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04C. <br />v <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. Burk and his contractor, Mr. Springer. Board <br />had no questions. E. Graves moved to grant the variance, seconded by C. <br />Remmel, and unanimously approved. Variance granted.
