? <br />? .. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - MARCH 7, 1984 <br />Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: R. Bugala, E. Graves, L. Horvath, and C. Remmel <br />Also Present: Inspector T. Restifo, Law Director M. Gareau, and Recording <br />Secretary B. Oring. <br />R. Bugala moved to approve the Minutes of February 1, 1984 as presented, <br />seconded by L. Horvath, and unanimously approved. <br />1. Val Borysiewicz, 23329 Alexander Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 9'8" variance for distance between <br />proposed addition and garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1161.01. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Borysiewicz. It was pointed out.that a special permit <br />would also have to be granted for a non-conforming house (front set back). <br />Chairman Remmel stated that a 16' addition was somewhat big for the size of <br />the lot; he suggested a 12' foot addition. Mr. Borysiewicz stated that there <br />was another house a-few doors down with the exact same addition. Mr. Remmel <br />had only noticed an addition to the east which encroached approximately <br />121. Mr. Borysiewicz did not think a 12' addition would be sufficient. <br />' Mrs. Borysiewicz was sworn in and advised_the Board that the house 8 doors up <br />had been granted a variance for a 20' wide addition. R. Bugala moved to <br />grant a variance for a 14'by 20' addition which would resolve the variance <br />for the required distance between the house and garage and to grant a <br />special p rmit, seconded by L. Horvath, and unanimously approved. Special <br />permit an?d variance grante . <br />2. G. M. Terrel, 5434 Berkshire Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance for location of tool shed. <br />Violation of Ord, 62-33, Section 1151.04,D. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. Terrel and neighbor B. Ahern. Site plans showed <br />2 options, both are located behind an existing hedge. Mr. Ahern has no <br />objection to either location. Lot is extremely deep. C. Remmel moved to <br />grant the variance for option #2 on site plans for a legal size tool shed <br />to be located approximately 38' from house, seconded by E. Graves, and <br />unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />3. T. & S. Fleming, 25417 Butternut Ridge Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 1' height variance for fence. <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-H. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. Terrel who explained that his property would abut <br />' the new relocated 252, State is not required to install a f ence on a State <br />Route. Board was not aware that construction date has been set. Their <br />concern is that fence will be installed and road won't be constructed for
