? s " CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW MINUTES - NOVEMBER 21, 1984 I. ROLL CALL: Chairwoman Case called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m. Present: M. Case and S. Ebin Absent: J. Cavaluchi and R. Mongello Also Present: Recording Secretary B. Oring II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: S. Ebin moved that the Minutes of October 17, 1984 be approved as submitted, seconded by M. Case, and unanimously approved. III. SIGNS: No items. IV. OLD BUSINESS: Crestmont Chrysler Dealership, located west of existing Crestmont Toyota Dealership. (Added to agenda.) (Preliminary variance granted by Board of Zoning Appeals November 14, 1984) (Building Plans approved by Architectural Board of Review October 17, 1984) Mr. Giglio of Kluchen Architects presented plans for a screen wall which will be louvered bronze aluminium, 21' across the front and 10' on each side9 at least 42" high (this may be higher if necessary to hide mechanical equip- ment) and wi11 be placed on the rear of the front section of the building. Landscape plan reflects the recommendations of the Board of Zoning Appeals when preliminary variance was granted, except that because of space limita- tions, pads to display 6 cars will be oval instead of circular as recom- mexxded. Board agreed this is an attractive solution and suggested that pads might even be raised. S. Ebin moved to accept the mechanical equip- ment screening and the landscaping plan as submitted, seconded by M. Case, and unanimously approved. V. NEW BUSINESS: a) McDonalds Office Suilding, (Fremont-Mahler Assoc.), 28253 Lorain Rd. Proposal to construct an addition No representative present. Heard later in meeting. b) Charles Helzer (K. Illes), property located adjacent to 31254 Bradley Rd. Proposal to construct warehouse in Limited Industrial Area. Heard by Planning Commission November 13, 1984. J.
