? <br />s <br />" CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW <br />MINUTES - NOVEMBER 21, 1984 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairwoman Case called the meeting to order at 4:15 p.m. <br />Present: M. Case and S. Ebin <br />Absent: J. Cavaluchi and R. Mongello <br />Also Present: Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />S. Ebin moved that the Minutes of October 17, 1984 be approved as submitted, <br />seconded by M. Case, and unanimously approved. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />No items. <br />IV. OLD BUSINESS: <br />Crestmont Chrysler Dealership, located west of existing Crestmont Toyota <br />Dealership. (Added to agenda.) <br />(Preliminary variance granted by Board of Zoning Appeals November 14, 1984) <br />(Building Plans approved by Architectural Board of Review October 17, 1984) <br />Mr. Giglio of Kluchen Architects presented plans for a screen wall which <br />will be louvered bronze aluminium, 21' across the front and 10' on each side9 <br />at least 42" high (this may be higher if necessary to hide mechanical equip- <br />ment) and wi11 be placed on the rear of the front section of the building. <br />Landscape plan reflects the recommendations of the Board of Zoning Appeals <br />when preliminary variance was granted, except that because of space limita- <br />tions, pads to display 6 cars will be oval instead of circular as recom- <br />mexxded. Board agreed this is an attractive solution and suggested that <br />pads might even be raised. S. Ebin moved to accept the mechanical equip- <br />ment screening and the landscaping plan as submitted, seconded by M. Case, <br />and unanimously approved. <br />V. NEW BUSINESS: <br />a) McDonalds Office Suilding, (Fremont-Mahler Assoc.), 28253 Lorain Rd. <br />Proposal to construct an addition <br />No representative present. Heard later in meeting. <br />b) Charles Helzer (K. Illes), property located adjacent to 31254 Bradley Rd. <br />Proposal to construct warehouse in Limited Industrial Area. <br />Heard by Planning Commission November 13, 1984. <br />J.
