- - - <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - NOVEMBER 2, 1983 <br />Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: C. Remmel, R. Bugala, E. Graves, L. Horvath, and T. Restifo <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner E. Gundy, <br />and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />L. Horvath moved to approve the minutes of October 5, 1983, as submitted, <br />seconded by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. <br />1. Virgel R. Zanick, 4242 Clague Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 813 sq. ft. variance for attached garage <br />(274 sq. ft, for garage and 539 sq. ft. for existing shed). Violation of Ord. <br />62-33, Section 1151.04-C Also request special permit to add to non-conforming <br />dwelling. Special permission required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remne1 called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Zanick who explained that existing garage would be removed, <br />however the shed which is used as a workshop will remain. E. Graves moved to <br />grant the variance and special permit, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously <br />approved. Variance and special permit granted. <br />2. Beverly and William Schiely, 6196 Columbia Rd. <br />No representative present. Heard later. <br />3. E. P. Sanders, 23040 Stoney Brook Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 2'6" front set back variance for ves- <br />tibule. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1159.01. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Sanders. This is for a roof and frame over the front door; <br />the sides will not be enclosed. L. Horvath moved to grant the variance, seconded <br />by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />4. Paul Baugh, 4096 Dover Center Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 30 sq. ft. variance for attached garage <br />, area. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04Ce Also request 2' total sideyard <br />variance. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1161.01. Request special permit to <br />add to non-conforming dwelling (front set back and side yard). Special permis- <br />sion required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was <br />administered to Mr. Baugh. The Board agreed this would be an improvement to the <br />house. C. Remmel moved to grant the variances and special permit, seconded by L. <br />Horvath, and unanimously approved. Variances granted. <br />5. Ray Dress, Permanent Parcel #232.30-5 located north of 4018 Root Rd. Request for <br />variance (1133.13). Request variance to construct two-family home in Single Res- <br />idential Area (A District). Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04.
