Remmel, R. Bugala, E. Graves, L. Horvath, and T. Restifo. <br />Also Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy and Recording Secretary <br />B. Oring. <br />L. Horvath moved to approve the Minutes of April 6, 1983 as presented, <br />seconded by E. Graves, and unanimously approved. <br />1. Clyde Black, 5764 Stearns Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request lt height variance for fence. <br />Vinlation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04H. Fence is installed. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Black who explained that he constructed <br />? the fence without realizing he needed a permit. The six foot section <br />? of the fence abuts residential property, not where his property abuts <br />commercial property. The Board felt it would not be difficult to cut <br />down the wood fence to 5'. C. Remmel moved to approve the variance for <br />a 6' fence, seconded by E. Graves. Roll call on motion: Remmel, Bugala, <br />Graves, Horvath, and Restifo, Nay. Motion failed to pass. Variance <br />denied. <br />2. John Andrew Holmgren, 5695 Barton Rd. <br />Request for special permit. Request special permit to add to non- <br />conforming dwelling (front set back over 70'). Special permission re- <br />quired Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered to Mr. Holmgren. The existing house exceeds the <br />70' maiximum front set back. R. Bugala moved to grant the special permit <br />seconded by L. Horvath, and unanimously approved. Special permit granted. <br />3. Jack Smith, 23496 Stoneybrook <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 8'6" rear yard variance for ad- <br />dition. Violation of Ord: 62-33, Section 1163.01. <br />Chair-man Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />J oath was administered to Mr. Smith. Chairman Remmel stated this was in <br />' a corner and away from adjacent neighbors. E. Graves moved to grant the <br />variance, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. Variance <br />granted. <br />4. David Kasayka, 23424 Stoneybrook <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 9'6" rear yard variance for ad- <br />J dition. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. Also request 21" <br />side yard variance for fireplace. Violation ot Ord. 62-33, Section 1161.01. <br />Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. The oath <br />was administered to Mr. & Mrs. Kasayka. Mr. Kasayka clarified that his <br />fence was about a foot inside the property line. E. Graves moved to grant <br />the variances, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. Variances <br />granted.
