<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - MARCH 2, 1983 <br />Vice-Chairman Graves called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: R. Bugala, E. Graves, L. Horvath, and T. Restifo <br />Absent: C. Remmel <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner E. <br />Gundy, and Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />L. Horvath moved to approve the Minutes of February 2, 1983 as <br />written, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. <br />Walter E. Russell, 24852 Randall Dr. (continued from 10/6/82) <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 16.4'rear yard variance <br />for screened patio. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. <br />(Variance for rear yard granted 9/17/63). <br />Vice-Chairman Graves called all interested parties before the <br />Board. The oath was administered to Mr. Russell. Building Com- <br />missioner Gundy advised that the contractor has not responded to <br />any communications. The contractor installed the enclosure with- <br />out a permit. No footers had been installed as required by code. <br />Mr. Russell will install footers.if cost is not prohibitive; if <br />so lie will take down the structure. T. Restifo moved to grant <br />the variance with the condition that the proper footers are instal- <br />led by June, 1983, and with inspections from the Building Dept. <br />to make sure it is done properly, seconded by R. Bugala, and <br />unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />Florentino Morales, 6231 Barton Rd. (Variance granted May 5, 1982) <br />Request Special Permit to add non-conforming dwelling (front set <br />back). Special Permit required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. Also <br />request for variance (1133.13).,. Request 29' 6" front set back <br />variance for addition. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. <br />Variance was granted May 5, 1982 with condition that sub-base of <br />driveway be installed prior to starting the building. Mr. Moralis <br />stated that because of the mud and because he has to put in a <br />sewer at the same time, he has not been able to install the drive. <br />He is doing most of his work himself. He has permission from the <br />adjacent church to park in their parking lot. Mr. Morales stated <br />that he will have the driveway in by June lst. <br />1.
