CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS 4 MINUTES - JANUARY 5, 1983 Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m.. Present: C. Remmel, E. Graves, L. Horvath, and T. Restifo Absent: R. Bugala Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner E. Gundy, and Recording Secretary B. Oring ELECTION OF OFFICERS: M. Graves moved to nominate C. Remmel as Chairman, seconded by L. Horvath. Roll call on motion: Graves, Horvath, and Restifo, Aye. Mr. Remnel abstained. C. Remmel elected Chairman. T. Restifo moved to nominate E. Graves for Vice Chairman, seconded by L. Horvath. Roll call on motion: Restifo, Horvath, and Remmel, Aye. Mr. Graves, abstained. Mr. E. Graves elected as? Vice Chairman. Building Commissioner Gundy stated that the case of Walter Russell, 24825 Randall Dr. (continued from October 6, 1982) is not resolved as yet. The request of Gregory J. Htunmer, M.D., Lorain Rd. has been with- drawn since the developer has reduced-.the size-of the-building and the parking now conforms. The Board would like the Building Department to check the Morales property, 6231 Barton Road. Itappears that he has not fulfilled con- ditions of the_variance granted on May 5, 1982 since his has not put in the sub base of the new driveway. Building Commissioner - Gundy will check. 1. Linda Brooks, 5794 Bradley Rd. Request for variance (1133.13). Request 250 sq. ft. variance for area of lot to subdivide property.. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1157.02. i/ ?Chairman Remmel called all interested parties before the Board. No representative was present. The request was explained to severa.l adjacent neighbors. It was decided to hear the case with- out Mrs. Brooks. The neighbors had no objection, in fact, they believed that if a house were built on the vacant section of the property, it would.be an improvement. E. Graves moved to grant the variance, seconded by T. Restifo, and unanimously approved. Variance granted.
