; <br />??.p.._..?.- <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - DECEMBER 7, 1983 <br />Chairman Remmel called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. <br />Present: L. Horvath, E. Graves, C. Remmel, T. Restifo, R. Bugala <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioenr E. Gundy <br />L. Horvath moved to approve the minutes of November 2, 1983, as submitted, <br />seconded by C. Remmel and unanimously approved. <br />Due to other committments, Standard Oil asked to be heard out of sequence as <br />shown on the agenda. Board agreed to hear this case first. <br />1. Standard Oil Co., Clague and Lorain Roads. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 10' set back variance for gas pumps and <br />canopy. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1174.02. <br />Interested persons were invited to stand before the Board and be sworn in. A1 <br />Schneider, Standard Oil Area Engineer identified himself to the Board. Detailed <br />plans were provided and explained concerning the existing station versus the <br />proposed raze-rebuild configuration of building, pumps, and canopy. Proposed <br />Ordinance #83-124 was reviewed. If approved, the Ordinance will provide new <br />standards for gas pump canopy? lo?Ya?ions. Mr. Bugala questioned the usefulness <br />of the canopy that will not over the pump locations. The traffic pattern <br />including the rear and front turning radius was studied. Motion was made by C. <br />Remmel to approve the request,seconded by L. Horvath. Roll call on motion, <br />Remmel yes, Horvath yes, Restifo no, Graves no, Bugala no. Variance denied. <br />2. Thomas Wisnor, 23507 Carriage Lane <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 10.5' rear yard variance for 2 story <br />addition. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. <br />Interested persons were invited to stand before the Board and be sworn in. Thomas <br />Wisnor identified himself. The plans were explained. All members inspected the <br />site. Motion was made by Mr. Horvath to approve the variance, seconded by E. Graves, <br />and unanimously approved. Variance granted. <br />3. Charles Busanus, 4555 Selhurst <br />Request special permit. Request special permit to add to non-conforming dwelling <br />(front set back). Special permission required Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Interested persons were invited to stand before the Board and be sworn in. In at- <br />tendance were Charles Busanus, Chris Busanus, and Guy Kitchen, employed by Gates <br />Construction. All members inspected the site. Motion was made by E. Graves to <br />approve the special permit, seconded by R. Bugala, and unanimously approved. <br />Special permit granted, <br />4. Richard L. Wilton, 28409 Elder Dr. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 22" side yard variance for fireplace. <br />' Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1161.01.
