r' <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MINUTES - MAY 10, 1983 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairman Morgan called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. <br />Present: B. Gorris, J. Wixted, J. Brown, and T. Morgan <br />J. Burns arrived at 8:12 p.m. <br />Absent: J. Roberts <br />Also Present: Assistant Law Director J. Dubelko, Building Com- <br />missioner E. Gundy, City Engineer R. Zurawski, <br />Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott, and Recording <br />' Secretary B. Oring <br />II._ REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />B. Gorris moved to approve the Minutes of April 26, 1983 as pre- <br />sented, seconded by J. Wixted, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />(1) Mr: Donut, 27624 Lorain Rd. <br />Exterior alteration to building <br />(Notices will be sent for meeting of May 24th). <br />Mr. Cygan, the owner, and Mr. Jack, the contractor, explained <br />that the exterior alteration increases the brick (which will <br />match the existing), and reduce the window area; all trim <br />will be bronze aluminum. The interior area will be updated and <br />one more parking space will be-required, however, the present <br />parking includes the extra space. One sign on the front will <br />- remain, but sign shown on plans for the south elevation will <br />be deleted. Notices were not sent for this meeting, but <br />notification will be made for the Planning Commission meeting <br />of May 24th. J. Brown moved to refer the exterior alteration <br />proposal for the Mr. Donut shop to the"ARB, seconded by B. ' <br />, Gorris, and unanimously approved. ' <br />IV. NEW DEVELOPMENTS AND SUBDIVISION3: <br />(1) Country Club Blvd, Median Strip Cut, ' <br />Proposal is to allow an opening to be made in the median strip <br />of Country Club Blvd, west of Great Northern Blvd, to provide ' <br />access in both directions along Country Club Blvd for ingress <br />and egress to a proposed restaurant to be located at the south- <br />west corner of the intersection of Country Club and Great <br />Northern Blvd.
