. CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS MINUTES - APRIL 1, 1981 Chairman Ledvina called the meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. Present: D. L'edvina, L. Horvath, and W. Wasniak Absent: C. Remmel and E. DeVoto Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Comrsissioner E. Gundy, and Recording Secretary B. Oring. L. Horvath moved to approve the Minutes of March 4, 1981, seconded by W. Wasniak, and unanimously approved. 1. James W. Krucke (Garage World), 24354 Vincent Dr. Request for variance (1133.13). Request 5' variance for distance between house and garage. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04-C Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered. The request was explained to a neighbor. L. Horvath moved to grant the variance, seconded by 14. Wasniak, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. 2. Wayne C. Parker, 5692 Dorothy Dr. Request for variance (1133.13). Request for 1' height variance for fence. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1151.04G. Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered. This is an exceptionally deep lot. L. Horvath moved to grant the variance, seconded by W. Wasniak, and unanimously approved. Variance granted. 3. Basco, Inc. (Brilliant Electric Signs), 26520 Lora?n Rd. Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance for second pole sign on one lot. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1225.02. Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. The oath was administered. Russ Galena of Brilliant Electric Signs explained that Basco has bought the State Wholesale store and wants a second pole sign at the Brookpark Ext. entrance (The first pole sign is located on Lorain Rd.). 'I'his is not a typical case of two pole signs on one lot since they are so far distant from one another. L. Horvath moved to grant the variance, seconded by W. Wasniak, and unanimously approved. Variance granted.
