A.. ._ y <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW <br />MINUTES - SEP.TEMBER 14, 1981 <br />I. ROLL CALL: <br />Chairwoman Case called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. <br />Present: M. Case, R. Parry, and S. Ebin <br />Absent: R. Mongello <br />Also present: B. Oring Recording Secretary <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF I4fINUTES: <br />S. Ebin moved to approve the Minutes of August 17, 1981, as submitted, <br />seconded by R. Parry, and unanimously approved. <br />III. SIGNS: <br />(a) William R. Giesser, 24963 Lorain Rd. Ground Sign <br />Approved as submitted <br />(b) Rent A Heep (G & L Signs), 24532 Lorain Rd. Wall and Pole Sign <br />Approved with the conditions: (1) that the changeable copy back- <br />ground be the same color as the background of the sign, (2) that <br />the letter for the ehangeable copy be black, and (3) that the <br />sign be of break resistant material such as lexan. <br />Mr. Parry stated that he had seen a Rent A Heap outlet in Denver <br />and that the cars were lined up in the front set back of the <br />building. Mr. Geisser, who represents the owner of the building, <br />assured the Board that the cars are to be parked along the side <br />facing the bowling alley and they are not to be parked in the front. <br />(c) Paradis Honda (jdagner Sign), 25870 Lorain Rd. [Jall Sign <br />Approved as presented <br />(d) The Winner (Bob Cutler Signs), 24863 Lorain Rd. Wall Sign <br />Approved as presented. <br />(e) Jerry Silverman Carpet Mill Outlet (First Neon Sign), 26103 <br />Lorain Rd. Wall Sign <br />Approved with the condition that the illegal temporary sign be <br />made to conform with the existing Zoning Ordinance.. <br />Mr. Parry noted that this business is displaying rolls of carpet <br />in.the front set back which is a violation of the Zoning Codes, <br />and he requests that the Building Department take appropriate <br />action.
