CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />MINUTES - MAY 7, 1980 <br />Chairman Ledvina called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.mo <br />P resent: D. Ledvina, C. Remmel, L. Horvath, E. DeVoto and W. Wasniak <br />Also Present: Law Director M. Gareau, Building Commissioner E. Gundy <br />and Recording Secretary B. Oring. <br />Chairman Ledvina corrected the Minutes of April 2, 1980 to show that <br />Mr. Wasniak was present. C. Remmel moved to app rove the Minutes of <br />April 2, 1980 as corrected, seconded by L. Horvath, and unanimously <br />approved. <br />1. James Petro, 2811 Clague Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request Special Perniit to add to non- <br />conforming dwelling. Special permission required by Ord. 62-33, <br />Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered. The Special Permit is required because of a <br />non- conforming front set backe E. DeVoto moved to grant the Special <br />Permit, seconded by L. Horvath, and unanimously apgrovede Special <br />Permit granted. <br />2. Minter E. Walker, 5095 Andrus Ave. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request 12 ft. rear yard variance. <br />Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section 1163.01. Also, request Special <br />Permit to add to non-conforming dwelling. Special permission re- <br />quired Ord. 62-33, Section 1231.02. <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was administered. This request is for a variance to install a <br />patio cover only. L. Horvath moved to grant the 12 ft. rear yard <br />variance and the Special.Permit, seconded by E. DeVoto, and unani- <br />mously approved. Variance and Special Permit granted. <br />3. Save Mart, 24046 Lorain Rd. <br />Request for variance (1133.13). Request variance to use 8 temporary <br />signs for 3 day grand opening. Violation of Ord. 62-33, Section <br />1225.02. <br />Chairman Ledvina called all interested parties before the Board. The <br />oath was adminis tered. This request is for temporary signs for a <br />three day grand opening only. It was explained by the applicant that <br />the opening had been postponed and would be sometime this summer. <br />C. Remmel moved to grant this variance for use within the next 60 <br />days, providing the appellantnotify the Building Commissioner in <br />advance of the actual grand opening with the provision that the signs
