ROLL CALL: <br />Vice Chairman Gorris called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. <br />Present: B. Gorris, T. Morgan, R. Perla, J. Roberts, and J. Brown <br />Absent: J. Prokasy and R. Bugala <br />Also Present: Building Commissione r Gundy, Assistant City Engineer <br />D. McDermott, Councilman R. Wilamoskv, and <br />Recording Secretary B. Oring <br />II. REVIEW AND CORRECTIONS OF MIidUTES: <br />B. Gorris correctedthe Minutes of June 10, 1980 to add to the motion <br />of Item (c), Page 2 to read: B. Gorris moved to reaffirm the <br />intent of the May 21, 1979 Planning Commission I4eeting regarding <br />Olmsted Plaza (Phase 4B) whereby the then existing most westerly <br />drive would be relocated to the western end of the new develop- <br />ment, relocated meaning eliminating completely the original westerly <br />drive and thereby the development would have only two drives off <br />Lorain, eliminating the existinQ westerlv drive was due to the <br />Commissions concern relative to safety and traffic flow Dattern <br />in that area. R. Perla moved to approve the Minutes of June 10, <br />1980 as corrected, seconded by T. Morgan, and unanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />(a) Signs (Reviewed by the Architectural Board of Review <br />June 16, 1980. <br />T. Morgan moved to approve the signs with the recommen- <br />dations of the Architectural Board of Review but that the <br />Tuff Kote sign be approved subject to the removal of the <br />telephone numbers and that the Entenmann Bakery sign be <br />Approved on the condition that the remaining pole sign <br />will be available to the other three tennants of the <br />shopping center, seconded by R. Perla, and unanimovsly <br />approved. <br />(b) William Rooney (North Olmsted Carriage Shop), 5034 Dover <br />Center Rd. <br />Proposal to construct an addition to existing building. <br />Building Commissioner Gundy explained that this is a non- <br />conforming building and has received a Special Permit from <br />the Board of Zoning Appeals for the addition. R. Mongello, <br />Architect, explained the plans.and advised that the exist- <br />ing structure will be upgraded by the owner. This is now
