To 1 " CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES - SEPTIIMBER 23, 1980 I. ROLL CALL: Chairman Bugala called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. Present: T. Morgan, J. Prokasy, J. Roberts, and J. Brown R. Perla arrived at 8:10 p.m. Absent: B. Gorris Also Present: Assistant Law Director D. Ryan, Building Commissioner E. Gundy, Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott and Recording Secretary B. Oring. II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: Assistant City Engineer advised that in the Minutes of September 9, 1980, page 3, lOth line from the bottom should read: "...previous?:Y submitted subdivision. Also Page 3, 5th line from the bottom, in- sert after "... of the code. Parcel 231-30-14 is not now included in this pronosed subdivision." J. Roberts moved to approve the Minutes of September 9, 1980 as corrected, seconded by T. Morgan, and unanimously approved. III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: (a) Signs: The signs were presented and studied in conjunction with the Architectural Board of Review Minutes of September 159 1980. Union Commerce Bank (Brilliant Electric Signs), 23100 Lorain Rd. (Variance granted 9/3/80 to install second sign on existing ' Rini's Pole)m T. Morgan moved to approve the Union Commerce Bank Signs de- signated by the variance granted on September 3, 1980, seconded by J. Roberts, and unanimously approved. Microwave Ovens (Boyer Sign Co.,) 25319 Lorain Rd. D. Williams moved to approve the Microwave Oven Sign, seconded by C. Petroski, and unanimously approved. Fragapane Bakery (Bob Cutler Signs, Inc.), 28641 Lorain Rd. Changeable Copy Sign. No representative present. This is a"V" shaped ground sign and both faces are visible from the front. T. Morgan moved that the Fragapane Bakery changeable copy sign not be approved by this Board, seconded by J. Brown, and unanimously approved.
