a ? . CITY OF NORTEi OLMSTED PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES - OCTOBER 28, 1980 I. ROLL CALL: Chairman Bugala called the meeting to order at 8:04 p.m. Present: B. Gorris, T. Morgan, R. Perla, J. Roberts, J. Brown, and R. Bugala. Absent: J. Prokasy Also Present: Building Commissioner E. Gundy, Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott, Assistant Law Director D. Ryan, and Recording Secretary B. Oring. II. REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: , J. Brown moved to approve the Minutes of October 14, 1980 with the following corrections: Page 2(b) J. Roberts seconded the motion, third tolast.:line delete the word will, also under Also Present add Councilman D. Woerpel, seconded by J. Roberts, and unanimously approved. r- III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: (a) SIGNS: The signs were studied and discussed in conjunction with the Architectural Board of Review Minutes of October 20, 1980e T. Morgan moved to approve all the signs as stated by the Architectural Board of Review with the exception that the Woodscape Zaremba sign will not be illuminated and the T G I Friday sign which will be heard with the T G I.building plans, s,econded by B. Gorris, and unanimously approved. ,(b) Jamestown Village Apartments, Phase 7(D. Margolius), Columbia and Brookpark Roads. D. Margolius presented the revised plans for the 32 suite apartment and explained that a variance had been granted by the Board of Zoning Appeals and that these plans include the recommendations of the Architectural Board of Review. The landscape plans are to be presented to the Architectural Board at the next meeting. Assistant D. McDermott advised the Commission that the City is going to request from Mr. Margolius 10'.6f frontage for the widening of Columbia Rd. They are also suggesting that the access driveway be open on to the existing interior driveway of the adjacent condominum. Mr. Margolius explained that this is not possible since the ,..
