? CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ARCHITECTURAL BOARD OF REVIEW v MINUTES - SEPTEMBER 17, 1979 I. CALL TO ORDER: . ` The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. II. ROLL CALL: Present: Robert Parry, Carl Petroski, Don Williams, and Marie Case Also Present: B. Oring, Recording Secretary a III. CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES: The Minutes of August 20, 1979 were approved as submitted. IVo NEW BUSINESS: (a) Signs : Kadar Realty, 24002 Lorain Rd. (Tabled at August 20th meeting) Grotmd- Sign and Wall Signs '(Tabled; no representative present). Representative arrived later. Wall sign approved as presented. Grotmd sign was approved with the recommendation that the logo VH be removed and be replaced with a 112- to 2" brown band around the outside of the sign. Fragapane Bakeries, Inc. 26825 Lorain Rd. - Wall Sign. A motion was made that the Fragapane sign be tabled imtil the next meeting and requesting that a sign -criteria for all store fronts in the plaza be presented listing the size, type of lettering and location of other facia lettering. Living Rooms Only, 23786 Lorain.--_Pole Sign A motion was made to approve the pole sign providing it con- forms to all City Ordinances. '. Rad Air, 24260 Lorain Rd. Ground Sign No representative present. A motion was made to disapprove the ground sign since it could be a safety hazzard. Central Bank, 26065 Lorain Rd. Pole Sign Approved in item (c) with building plans Note to Building Department: The Board requests that information be included as to the amoimt of square footage permitted and how large the sign is and how much square footage is left over.
