REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES: <br />J. Roberts corrected Page 2, Paragraph 1, omit the word pending <br />(first word, second last line). J. Roberts moved to approve the ` <br />Minutes of November 27, 1979 as corrected, seconded by R. Perla, <br />and tmanimously approved. <br />III. BUILDING DEPARTMENT REQUESTS: <br />(a) jdalnut Ridge Multi-family Development, Kennedy Ridge and Columbia <br />Roads. Mra George Engel presented the revised plans. He explained <br />that all the recommendations of the Architectural Board of Revi.ew <br />had been.included. The plans were studied and discussed in con- <br />? junction with the Architectural Board of Review Minutes of November <br />19, 1979. The development sign and lighting plan will be submitted <br />at a later date. The neighbors' request for an 8' fence wael dis- . <br />cussed. There is an alternate plan (preferred by some of the adi.a- <br />cent property owners) that provides for only one access driveway, <br />if the City approves this alternate plan, the single road will be <br />a divided boulevard with an island. Building Commissioner Gimdy <br />and Assistant City Engineer D. McDermott both felt that the Fire <br />and Police Departments should be consulted regarding access for <br />. emergency vehicles before approving the one-access.plan. One exist- <br />ing house is to be demolished if two drives are used, however if the., ; <br />one-access plan is used this house is to be moved. J. Roberts " moved to continue the Walnut Ridge Multi-family Developinent and <br />that the Planning Comnission requests a recommendation from the <br />Safety Department, ;i..e.Fire Department and Police; as to the advis- <br />ability of one ingress/egress, seconded by B. Gorris, and Lmanimously <br />app rove d. . ' ` <br />(b) Carlton Place Multi-family Development, Clague, Mastick, and Brookpark <br />Roads. R. Mongello, Architect, explained the variances granted by <br />the Board of Zoning Appeals, October 10, 1979. The plans were studied, <br />and discussed. Mr. De[ditt, a neighbor stated that these plans are <br />satisfactory to the adjoining property owners. B.
