Gundy,Building Commissioner, N. Gareau Law Director and <br />V. Hodginsp Recording Secretarye <br />Also Present in Audience: Councilmen Saringer, Sharpe, and Goggin. <br />Nx. Duskey moved to approve minutes of April 2, 1975 rn]eetinge Iiotion v.as second- <br />ed by Mr. Hamill and passed unanimously. <br />Memo from Nlr. Gundy to Chairman Ledvina and Board Members as follows: <br />"Saturday April 12, 1975 I was requested by Phone to inspect and rule <br />on the planting of shrubs at 27333 Bellevue Dr. <br />i"It was my opinion that this inbtallation was not.a fence and not sub- <br />ject to the provisions of Ordinance #62-33 Section 1151.04 Par.H. <br />w"The compaintant, Mrs. Neil, located at 27343 Clinton Drive, (the most <br />affected neighbor) disagreed with this ruling, alleging that the shrubs as <br />planted are indeed a fence. <br />"As provided in Section 1133•07, I am requesting that the Board review <br />this m.atter and if possible render a decision of interpretation at the regular <br />meeting of June 19759e <br />Continuance of hearing of request for I,awrence McDermott, 27L60 Bassett Rd. <br />Westlake9 Ohio U145• Request for variance (1133.13)• Request for com'Qink- <br />ed use of facilities at 26804 Lorain Rd. Savage and then recalculated by Mr. Gundye However it was <br />figured parking is inadequate. l7r. Savage stated F'ox Audio is viZling to <br />share his parking facilitieso Hours for operation of the two businesses is <br />no confliet; Fox Audio does 80% of its business by phone accordi.ng to Mr. <br />Savage. Law Director Gareau spoke of ineeting the City's criteria - contem- <br />plated dual occupancy is power granted to this Board. The owner is the same <br />for both buildings; is the contract suitable or lill parking overflow onto <br />non cooperating businesses? Mr. Gundy clarified the ordinance. He used <br />the formula under 1EasseMbly" and had given it liberal interpretation. Mro <br />Scanlon, attorney, representing King Automotive Supply and tenants of Mr. <br />King, restated contents of his letter of April 29 1975. Ed Bedford of <br />St. Richard's Parish Council had petition representing 1,000 parish2oners <br />and explained their objections. Hours of the operation of Nlr. McDermott's <br />proposed business and hours and days and evenings of students attending <br />classes at Sto Richard's taere discussed.
