PLANNCNG COMMISSION <br />August 26, 1975 <br />I. <br />II. <br />III. <br />Roll Call <br />Chairman Prokasy called the meeting to order at 8:09 p.m. <br />Acting Secretary Elliott called the roll. <br />Present: Cha.irman Prokasy, Messrs. Elliott, Roberts, Freeh, Rafeld and <br />Tischler. <br />Also present: Building Commissioner Gundy, Assistant City Engineer <br />McDermott, Law Dixector Gareau, Recording Secretary <br />Hodgins, Councilmen Goggi.n and Saringer. <br />Review and Correction of Minutes <br />Section V. (a) should include "variances of <br />by Board of Zoning Appeals". Mr. Ell.iott's <br />place in committee pending action by Board <br />McDermott further corrected the same item t <br />in area is needed and 10 ft. frontage varia <br />reflect variances needed for C zoning and i <br />resubdivision is located in B zoned area. <br />minutes as corrected. The minutes <br />t was found the Carpenter <br />Mr. F`reeh moved to approve <br />and motion passed. <br />(1) Mr. Gundy presented proposed project for Seuffert Construc- <br />tion Co., Inc. to be located at Brendan and Lorai.n. It is <br />conceptual addition to Pizza restaurant. There are 12 story <br />house and a garage existing on the property. 6000 sq. ft. <br />of building is planned with 37 parking spaces required and <br />40 shown. Building is to be commercial with four 25 ft. <br />frontage store units. Commission members exami.ned plans. <br />This is preli.minary presentation only; more detailed review <br />of the area is to be made later. Mr. Roberts moved to <br />place in committee awaiting (1) set of plans of parking <br />di.mensions and of proper size; (2) engineering study; (3) <br />examination to determine if area being considered is one <br />parcel, or if subdi.vision is needed; and (4) more copies <br />of plans. Mr. Tischler seconded and motion passed. <br />(2) Mr. Gundy presented p]a ns for change of occupancy of abandoned <br />Texaco gas station at Decker and Lorain to a glass company. <br />Mr. Bracheck, owner of the glass company came before the Com- <br />mission and explained his plans - eli.minate one driveway, <br />building is regainted on inside and washed outside; tanks are <br />filled to satisfaction of Fire Department; 5 or 6 parking <br />spaces are required and planned; Setback from Lorain Road <br />is adequate. Commissioners found eva3.uation difficuit with- <br />out plans drawn to scale. Mr°., Bx°acheek is presently conduct- <br />ing his glass business at W. 117th St, but must relocate be-
