Minutes of Meeting <br />Planning Commission of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio <br />December 9, 1958. <br />The meeting was called to order by Chairman Sipe at 8:00 P.M. <br />Roll call was taken. <br />Presento Mayor Gareau, Mr. Sipe, Mr. Barnes, Building Inspector <br />Gundy• <br />Absent: Mr. Taylor, Mr. Grumney. <br />Minutes of the meeting of November 25th were read. Motion f or <br />approval made by Mayor Gareau, seconded by M'r. Barnes, approved by <br />commission. <br />Item 1. William Pate of West Park Home Builders, subrnitted plat <br />number 4 for the vJest side of Evergreen Drive. <br />Lot number 65 has inaufficient back yard.depth (only 421 deep}e <br />Lot number 60 has insufficient set-back. <br />Mr. Barnes recommended that changes be made and plat turned <br />over to the city engineer for his approval before resubmitting <br />it to the planning commission. <br />Item 2. Mr. Hoislbauer of Beverly Hi11s Development resubrnitted a <br />plat of his development. (Refer to Item l, of Nov.25th minutes) <br />Block A is reserved f or a swimming pool, country club and <br />playground. His intention is to deed this recreational area <br />over to the property owners in the development. <br />Access to the recreational area will be the 30 foot parcel <br />which the school board purchased from him. He has a recorded <br />easement f or this. <br />The turn-around on plat should have green shading showing <br />that it is to be dedicated. This is necessary, because in <br />the event that the rear property is aold, or developing <br />stopped, the city would have a street without a turn-around. <br />When the time comes to develop the rest of the road then the <br />turn-around can be taken out and property resubdivided. <br />The culvert which is to be covered will be a steel culvert. <br />Mr. Barnes made a motion to approve the plat (subject to <br />green shading of turn-around), Mayor Gareau seconded the <br />motion. Rol1 ca1.1 was taken. Mayor Gareau, Mr. Sipe and <br />Mr. Barnes approve. . <br />Item 3. Mr. Engoglia and Mro Morley of Suburbanite Homes, Inc. <br />Mr. Morley resubmitted his Suburbanite Homes, Inc. plat. <br />for approval of sanitary sewer plans. (Refer to Nov. llth <br />and Nov. 25th minutes.)' <br />In answer to the question of location of sewer line <br />on Terrace Drive, Mr. Kanareff atated that the center of the <br />street would be best as opposed to tree lawn. The city <br />could then use the tree lawn for th:e city sewer. <br />He has approved the mechanics of the plan. <br />The proposed layout of the allotment shows that the <br />sewer lines f low north (downgrade) to Terrace Drive. <br />According to Mr. Morley the only 13ne that would have to <br />be changed to f low into our sewers would be the Terrace
