MU.nutes of b4eeting <br />Planning Commi.ss.ion of the City of North Olmsted, Ohio. <br />January 13, 195 9 <br />- The meating was ca11ed to order by Chairman Sipe at 8;15 p.m. -RolX <br />cal'1 was taken by Secretary Grutnney. <br />Present: 14lr-. Sipe, Mr. Grumney, ATr. Taylor? Ser.v.ice Director Barnes. A1so <br />attending viere Solicitor Oviatt, Engineer Kanareff, Building <br />Commissioner Gundye <br />Absent: Mayor Gareau. (Attended special council meeting.) <br />Minutes of the meeting of December 9th ivero read. Motion for approval <br />was made- by Mr. Barnes, secondod by Ur. Sipe, approved by the commission. <br />Nezv Business: <br />Item 1. Rezoning of intersection of Ster?ns Road at Lorain Road. <br />Mr. Sipe read a letter t o t1he commis sion. fr om ILrewson, Levvis <br />8c Krewson, representing Mr. Gilchrist, ]dr. • Sassa, Mr. Crickon <br />and Mr. Elliott , asking for rezoning of the Stea.rns-Lorain Road <br />inters°ction. In as much as there is a committee in the council <br />studying rezoning of intersections, the commis.sion .felt that Mr'. <br />Krewson should direct his request to the council. It was decided that <br />a l,et-ter should be sent to him informing him. of the committee and <br />auggesting he vvrite to council. <br />Item 2. S7Vest Paxk Home Builders. <br />William Pate of West Fark Home Builders submitt.ed Subdivision <br />Number 5 and resubmitt ed pl at number. 4 f or approval (xef er t o it em <br />1, DeceTnber 9th minutes.) . Plat number 4- west side of Evergreen Drive. - <br />Lot number 65 noev has sufficient back yard depth (52 feet). <br />Lot number 60 has area f or sufficient set-back. (196 x 130) . <br />Mr. Kanaref.f said that no improveme nt s go a7,ong zvith p'lat number <br />. 4. Improvements for Evergreen•Drive are baing considexed with <br />Subdivision Number 3,-as previously being approved by the planning <br />commission. Mr. Barnes marie the motion to accegt plat number 4 <br />for recording purpos&s on1y. Mr• Taylor seconded the motion, Mr. <br />Ba.rnes, Mr. Sipe, Mr o Grumnay, IVfr • Taylor approved. <br />Subdivision Number 5. <br />The improvemerrts for subdivision nunb er 5 wi11 be submitted along <br />with plat number 5. <br />Willet Drive dead ends. <br />Proposing the best way to ;?ut a turn-around at the end of Willet Drive <br />the commission -gaid to leave the building line as noted on pYat and <br />put in an eccentric turn-around extending into lot numbar. 104. Since <br />tlze centerline of the turn-around is off the centerline of the street, <br />the commi.ssion will approve a 30 foot set-back for lot number 104
