These minutes are not official until apvroved at Planning Commission Meeting of December <br />10, 1963, <br />MINUTM OF A MEETING OF THE PLANNING CONlMISSION <br />CITY OF hTORTH OUiSTED - NOVFMER 26, 1963 <br />The meeting waa called to order at 8:30 P.M. by Vice-Chairnan itillacs. <br />The mimutes of the precious meeting and the corrected minutes of the special meeting were <br />read and approvqd. - <br />Preaent: I,eslie B. Mace, Anthon,q T. LaPonza, Donald T. Ford, Joseph P. gad,ylak. <br />Absent: Ballard W. Vincent, Richard Mongello, Thomae Stack. <br />Alao Fresent:` Alex Kanareff, City Engineer; Earl W. Donaldaon, Fire Chief; Jamea T. Wilson, <br />Safety D3rector; George Schaaf, Solicitox; Erneet J. Gundy. Building Commissioner. <br />RZEPKA APAETPdENTS <br />RSr. Marty Liaton, representing 8zepka, Inc. was present before the Commission w3th a pro- <br />posed subdivision of 18 sublots. Discussiott ensued and it was moved by Mro Ford, aeconded <br />by Mr. Sadylak, to accept this proposed subdivision as preaented with the atreet continued <br />as Noreen Drive. YEAS Ford, gadylake I,aPonza, Maca. <br />HAYES CORPQRATION SUBDIFISION <br />Mr. John Supple and Mr. Frank Ruzoa, representing thie proposed eubdivi.sion, were present <br />before the Commission and grosented plans ahowing a 241 roadway to about 5 feet from the <br />property lime. Diacussion ensude relative to this proposed development and a communica.. <br />tion was read from the eommittee of the 1'lanning Commissioa rejecting the propoaed devel- <br />opment of the Hayes Corporation due to the fact that they do not hane a 60 foot roadway <br />and for the reasons of health, safety and welfare of the City. In thie communication they <br />recommended that a variance be givea by the Zoning Board of A.ppeale to permit a 24 to 301 <br />road right-of-way in this proposed subdivisio$ with ingress iato the adjoining propertie8 <br />and asidewalk and other improvements beneficial to the City to be included at the dis- <br />eretion of the City Engineer including the entire _troposed 48 unita based on the nature, <br />location and individual merits of this particular area. F'urther diacussion eneued and <br />they were advised that they would have to go before the Zoning Board of.Appeals. <br />JOSEPH BAUER SUBDIVISION N0. 1 <br />The committee of the Planning Commisaion finda reason to reject the propoaed Joseph Bauer <br />Subdivision No. 1 situa,ted in the City of North Olmsted and known ae being part of Orr3ginal <br />Olmsted Township I,ot No. 22, Tract No. 6, from Res3dential to Multi-unit. However, if the <br />developer can find an 3ngress into Country Club Boulevard a poesibility of consideration of <br />dupleg or 2 family units would be adviseable in this area. It was moved by Mx. Ford, <br />aeconded by Mro laPonza, to accept the committeela recommendations. yeaa Ford, LaPonza, <br />Macao Kad,ylak. The plat has been returned to Nir. Bauero <br />BtJTTERNUT IiEIGHTS SUBDIVIS I0N <br />A apecial commalttee of Planning Commisaion finds reason to reject the Butternut Hei ghts <br />Subdiviaion proposal to rezone the area East of Fitch Road and 3outh of Butternut Ridge <br />8oad from "A" Residential to "Multi=an.it". The Comnission feela that the Cfts does not <br />have an abundance o£ "All Residential area zoning and this propoeal does not fit in with <br />proper eity plax3siinge <br />SAUL BISKIND <br />The CommiBSion feels that the limit of 60 to 90 days should be alloared for this proposal.
