' <br />1. Appellant: North Olmstea Sportsmans Club9 5743 Bradley Rdo, North Olmsted <br />Ref: Rehearing for the purpose of a ruling and/pr Special Permit by the <br />Zoning Board of Appeals. Request was filed for the relocation of <br />a trap field onl,ye Sections of the Zoning Code (62-33) in question <br />are #1133.09 and #1151.01 sub-paragraph B. <br />To bring the hearing up to date, PZr. Kliriite read that portion of the kugust 11, <br />1965 minutes which covered what had transpired at that meeti.ng. <br />Present to represent the Sportsmans Cl.ub were Ted Cu1p, lreasurer, Jos. Tiruska9 <br />President and Robt, Bierbaurn, Projects Chma They again presented their plari <br />for relocation of the trap field. Due to addition of an indoor pistol range <br />about 5 years ago, the trap iield was infringed upon, thereby making it un- <br />suitable f'or official operations They wish io move trap iield over' north 50 <br />fto and west, 30 ft. It will be 30 ft. closer to street. Firing position to <br />the property line at street' 100 ft. The club house building, tiJhich sets back <br />60 Ft., w as built in 1°1%5 or 19?.6. <br />Neighbors present weres 1rtrso DiLillo, Mr. Hruska and Mr. Robt. Grant. <br />I.W. Grant objec-ted to relocatin,, trap field, feeling that shooting would be too <br />close to his home and there would be much more noises He believed that in re- <br />locating activity would be expanded. He was concerned about noise and safety <br />and wished to know what recourse he would have. Mr. Klinite expl ained that the <br />Board of 2oning Appeals had no authority regarding this and suggested he make <br />his appeal to the iKayor or Safety Director. <br />In response to ouestions asked by Mr. Greene' PTr. G.i1p said tihe club was not <br />operated for profit' it has a defined membership., it does not provide meals and <br />entertainment for outsiders and they have stopped rentuzg the club to outsiders, <br />renting on].y to members o <br />A discussion fo7l.owed regarding whether the Sportsmans Club would qualify un.d.er <br />the definition of a Gountry Club. (1125016) <br />Mz', Schmitt made a motion that the North 0lmsted Sportsmans Club complies vrith <br />? 1125m1b as a Coizritry Club. Second by Mr. Byers. Unanimousl,y approved. <br />?
