IqINUTES OF A MEETIINIG OF 'I`I-IE FLANINING COMIvIISSION CITY OF NORTH OLrTSTLD - MARCH 23, 1965 The meeti-n.g was called to order at 8:08 P.M. by Chairman Nrokasy. Present: Chairman James Prokasy, Vice-Chairman Donalii T. Ford, Secretary A-nthony T. LaPonza, and Ivlembers Wa1tcr Spalling, Jack Lsgar, Norman Musial, and Thomas F'abek. Also Present: Richard Labas, City Engineer; Bruce Kitchen, Law Director; Lrnest J. Gundy, Builc.ing Com.missioner; Del Limpert, Safety-Service Director; and Councilmen Nlangani, 0'Nei11, Castcr, Hodgins and West. The minutes of the previou.s meetin? were read and corrected as follo-as : Page 2- Communications - Paragraph l, Line 3- Chan.ge word "Highway" to "Developmeni" Page 3- Committee Reports - Paragraph 2, line 1- Change "Musial " to "Prokasy" The minutes were approved as corrected. The meeting was turned over to Mr. Rodney Disbain, the Northeast Regiohal ddministr.ator for the 701 planning program for a master plan. Open dis- cussion ensued relative to a Federal grant for the purpose of the prep- aration of a master p1an of the City in which Mr. Dis?ain presented the commission with rertinent d.ata necessary to qLalify f?or funds. Following are the basic requirements of a comprehensive plan or master p1an: 1. Land use plan 2. Transportation or thoroughf are plan 3. Community facilitmes plan Mr. Prolcasy, at the end of the diseussion, thanlced Nir. DisVain for appearing at tlte meeting. COTTONWOOD TRAIL SUBDIJISION It was reported that the committee had contacted Regional £'1anning and that Mr. Ken Crandall wi11 appear on their behalf at the meeting in regard to this matter. This caas tabled until Mr. Crandall's arrival. SANDY RIDGE SUBDIVISION IMPROVEI,41a'?T FLANS Tt was reparted by.the City Engineer that these Plans had been incomplete and had been corrected and he had not checked over them again as yet. Discussion ensued and it was moved by Mr. Esgar, seconded by Mr. Fabek, to withhold any recommendations on. these plans until a final report from the City Lengineer. YFAS Esgar, Fabek, Spalding, Musial, LaPonza, Prolcasy, Ford. WILL LIMPLRT - 4221 Dover Center Road NTr. Limpert presented to the Commission a request to subdivide trl.is 198 foot sublot into 3 sublots,, tw0 65 foot lots and one 68 foot 1ot.
