CITY OF NORTH<'OLMSTED - BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />Regular Meeting Iield at City Hall - December 7, 1966 <br />Neeting was called to order at 7:35 P.M. by Mr. tvilliam Greene, Chairman. <br />rlembers present: Mrs. Eian, Messrs. Greene, Nelson, Byers and Scheeff. <br />Also present: Mr. Gundy, Building Commissioner and Mrs. Hodges, Councilwoman. <br />Minutes of November 2nd regular meeting were approved as received. <br />Nr. Greene read a letter from Bretton Ridge Home Owners Club, Inc. requesting <br />a continuance on the hearing of their request for variance. <br />l. Appellant: Rinnella Bros. Inc., 25984 Lorain Rd., North Olmsted. <br />Request to build addition to southwest corner of existing <br />restaurant building, addition to measure 21' x 211. Exist- <br />ing building is 11' 4" from front lot line. <br />Request is in violation of Section 1174-02 of the Zoning <br />Ordinance, which states in retail business district building <br />setback shall be at least 50' from street line; Section <br />1231.02 (Sub B) which states a nonconforming building shall <br />not be altered, added to or enlarged unless the additions <br />and original building are made to conform to the yard, <br />coverage and height regulations of the district in which <br />it is located. <br />Mr. Rinella was present. Mr. Greene said that the Zoning Board could not <br />hear this request at the present time as the ordinance requires a 30 day <br />period oi time from final passage until it is in effect. This ordinance <br />was signed November 16, 1966, and will be in effect December 16, 1966. <br />Mr. Nelson made a motion for continuance to the regular meeting to be <br />held January 4th, 1967. Second by Mr. Scheeff. Carried. <br />2. Appellant: North Olmsted Assembly of God Church, 3874 Columbia Rd. <br />1Vorth Olmsted. <br />Request for a special permit by North Olmsted Assembly <br />of God Church to transfer sign from Lorain Road to 3874 <br />Columbia Road, North Olmsted. This dwelling is being <br />used for church purposes. Request is in violation of <br />Section 1225.01 (A). <br />Also as required by Section 9-1151.01 Sub. (E) there <br />must be a special permit for place of worship in a <br />residential district as provided in Section 1133.12 <br />oi the Zoning Code. <br />Mr. Norbert E. Fox, 3871 Columbia Rd. was present with some of the neighbors ? <br />in this area. Mr. Greene announced that because the appellant was not present, <br />this matter would be taken up later in the evening. <br />i
