, ., <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED - BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />Regular Meeting held at City Hall --- June 7;1967 <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M. by Mr. William Greene,Chairman <br />Members present: Mrs.,Eian, Messrs. Greene, Nelson, Byers, Roberts <br />Also Present: Mr. Gundy, Bldgo Commissioner <br />Coun ilman, Virginia Hodgins <br />fttion made by Mr. Nelson, seconded by Mr. Byers to have second regular <br />meeting for Month of June, on the 22nd of June. Unannimously passed. <br />1. Appellant: Marjak Development Co., 1350 West 3rd St., by phone, <br />requested continuance of their appeal for Sign in <br />excess of size permitted, for Topps Dept. Store, <br />until later meeting of the Board. <br />r;:oved by Mr. Nelson, seconded by Mr. Byers to permit <br />request for continuance of appeal until next regular <br />meeting June 22,1967. Unannimously passed. <br />2. Appellant: Mr. Dix L. McCann, 24066 Ambour Drive. Request to <br />erect a fence along rear property line 42" high. Rear <br />yard is adjacent to neighbors front yard. Variance of <br />12" fence height requested. <br />In violation of Ord. #62-33, Section 1151.04 H, which <br />requires fence from the Building line to street line <br />shall not exceed 30" in height. <br />Chairman read letter from adjacent neighbor Mrs. Wiese, stating she had <br />no objection as long as same type of fence is installed as presently <br />on her yard line. Mr. McCann said he had spoken to neighbor, Mr. Pomeroy, ? <br />who had no objection. <br />Motion by Mrs. Eian to grant 12" fence height variance, providing same <br />type of fence as present frnce on Wiese property is installed. Seconded <br />by Mr. Byers, passed. <br />3. Appellant: Hennie Homes, 28867 Lorain Rd. Request to build a <br />dwelling with attached garage on S/L 95 Plumwood Drive, <br />with sidelines 132', request for lZ' sideline variance. <br />Violation of Zoning Ord. Section 1161.01 which requires <br />dwelling with attached garage have total sidelines of <br />15' with tiiinimum on one side not less than 5'. <br />Present: Attorney F. Moss and R. Puzzitello representing Hennie Homes, <br />adjacent neighbors, J. Risso, Mr. Cruikshank, John Hoffa. <br />Attorney Frank Moss stated in as much as this is pie shapvd 1ot, side <br />line variance is required to build type of home now on the Street and <br />Mr. Risso adjacent neighbor would be effected by variance. <br />Mr. Risso presented pictures showing his home and side line next to <br />proposed dwelling. Stated he had been promised 15' between houses when <br />he purchased property.
