Leonard, J. Fdw?ard Brewer, Kurt Richaxds, James <br />Davis, I?onald Ledtrina, Absent> Richard Nelson, Edward Byers. Mr. Davis <br />moved to excuse Mr. PTelson anci Mr. r'3yers9 seconded b_y 1-1r. Brewer and <br />unanimously pa.ssed. also ,Dresento Mr. Ransberry, .h.ssistr-ant to Acting <br />Citv Fngineer9 Sallv Henkle, Secretary. <br />Rea.d.ing and Correction of T?1inutes <br />Mr. Richards moved to clispense with the reading of the tninute:s of the <br />9/8/70 meeting and to approve as written.9 second.ed by Hr. Ledvina and <br />unanimously pcissed. <br />Building Department Recuests <br />(a) Sedlak Develonment - Mro Ra.nsberry stated that he Vras representing <br />Pfir. Gundy Rnd presented plc-.ns for 'townhouse a.partments on Brendan <br />La.ne. He explained that the Board of Zoning Appea1s had granted a <br />variance of 13 garn.ges. Discussion was held.. Mr. Brewer moved to <br />a-pprove the plans as suhiuitted. The motion died for lack of a <br />second. Mro Sedlak asked wha.t his next move should be a.nd wa.s told <br />that Council would have to act on the requesto <br />(b) F'enderosa Steak House - Plans were presented for a. restaurnnt site in <br />front of Westerly Towers Apartments. It was pointed out that 9/a. <br />spaces z:*ere required ?p.y the ordinance and that one space is blocked <br />by :? fire hydrant malcing them one short of the rea ' uirement. The <br />deveioper stated that the hyr?r,-nt would be moved. Mr. Ledvina. moved <br />to ).rprove the »vsking for Penderosa Steak Housep seconded by Mro <br />Davis and passed with Mr. Richards voting no. <br />Old. i'usiness <br />(a) Hen R.oc Investment Co. - 14r. Moss stated that all changes ha.d been <br />made as recommended at the la.st nieeting. 1,41r. Ransberry pointed out <br />that the changes had been marked on the origina7_ pla,ns and that new <br />plans comple-te with all ch<i-nges should be submittedo Discussion was <br />h.eld and the general opinion wa.s that this would be a good use for <br />the land. Mr. Ler_Zvina moved to table the recuest so that a final <br />nlan can be submitted; seconaed by Mr. Brewer a.nd unanimously passed. <br />(b) Columbine Ar)artments Rezoning - Revised plans were suLmitted and Mr. <br />Ransberry stated that mixed multiple criteria had been applied to <br />the nroposaJ.o Mr. Leonard pointed out that the regional plan suggests <br />rezoning for garden-ty;ae a1?artments in this area. The Fire Chief has <br />also looked ovex the proposal and his recommendation for 16' driveways <br />has been incorporated into the nlans. Mr. Riehards moved to accept <br />the Columbine Apartments Rezoning Recuest; seconded by Mr. Davis and <br />una.nimously passed.
