<br />CTTY OF NORTH OLMSTED - BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS <br />Regular Meeting held at City Ha11 - December 1, 1971 <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:38 P.M. by Chairman John Roberts. <br />Those Present: Mr. Roberts9 Mr. Tubbs, and Mrs. Eiano <br />AZso Present: Mrsa Mago, Building Department <br />The minutes of the 8/23/71 meeting were approved as written. <br />1. Appellants Cleveland Trust Co., 23420 Lorain Rd. - Request for variance <br />(1133.13) to replace existing signs. Request is in violation of Ord. <br />#62-33, Section 1225.02. <br />Present: NLr. Carl Wagner of Wagner Sign Co. <br />Mr. Wagner was sworn ina He presented photos of the proposed signs. They are <br />asking for a sign to be on the building and one at the corner of Clague and <br />Lorain Road; a sign xeplacing the existing letters on the building, and a sign <br />replacing the one at the rear entrance of the parking lota Mr. Wagner stated <br />that by putting up the new signs, it would make proper identification much easier0 <br />2. Appellant: Cleveland Trust Co,, 26091 Great Northern Shopping Center - <br />R.equest for variance (1133.13) to replaee existing signso R.equest is <br />in violation of Ord. #62-33, Section Z225.020 <br />Present: Mr. Car1 Wagner <br />Since there was no information available on the exact dimensions of the buildings, <br />the Board decided to continue the two above cases next month. <br />3m Appellant: Donald F. Gates - Request to erect dwelling on S/L 22 Silverdale <br />Dr. Permanent Parcel #232-28-119 with a 20' va.riance for square footage <br />in Class B District. Request is in violation of Ord. #62-33, Section <br />1153.02, which requires 1060 sq. ft. <br />Present: Mr. & Mrs. Donald Gates, Edwin Ro1l, John Hendershot, Mrs. Frank Golick, <br />George A. Boehm. <br />A11 witnesses were sworn ino Ns. Gates submitted pZans for the Bi-1eve1 home. <br />Mr, Roberts asked how far the houses next door are set back, Mr. Gates said <br />it was 50', the same as they are proposing. Mr. Roberts asked if there are <br />any drainage problems in this area. Mrs. Golick said there are. Mro Gates <br />has already figured this outo Mrs. Golick asked what kind of siding the <br />proposed home would haveo She was told it wotttld be.,aluminuma Mrg. GoZick <br />said the home wo uld be an improvement to the area and Mre Ro1.1 agreedo Mrsm <br />Eian moved to grant a 20' variance for square footage; seconded by Mr. Tubbs <br />and unanimously passed. <br />4.
