PLANNING & DESIGN COMMISSION <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES OF AUGUST 8, 2012 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Ms. Meredith called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Present: Melissa Meredith, Greg Malone, Robert Parry, Ralph Bohlmann, Julie Nader, Marlc <br />Mahoney, Don Rerko <br />Staff: Planning & Development Director Kimberly Wenger, Assistant Law Director Bryan <br />O'Malley, City Engineer Pietro DiFranco, Assistant Building Commissioner James <br />McReynolds, Clerk of Commissions Donna Rote <br />REVIEW AND CORRECTION OF MINUTES <br />Ms. Meredith moved, seconded by Ms. Nader, to approve the Planning and Design <br />Commission minutes of July 25, 2012 as amended, which passed 7-0. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />CMS12-21 Douizlas Challinor; 3655 Columbia Road <br />Proposal consists of consolidating PPNs 231-19-040 and 231-19-041 into one parcel. <br />Mr. McReynolds said the applicant was granted variances for a garage contingent upon the <br />consolidation; he has no objections. Mr. DiFranco said engineering recommends approval. <br />Ms. Meredith Moved, seconded by Mr. Bohlmann, to approve the lot consolidation for <br />CMS12-21 Douglas Challinor of 3655 Columbia Road consisting of consolidating PP# 231- <br />19-040 and 231-19-041 into one parcel, which passed 7-0. <br />CMS12-13 Sunnyside Toyota; 26890 Lorain lZoad <br />Proposal consists of consolidating PPNs 232-25-010 and 232-25-029 into one parcel. <br />Ms. Wenger said Sunnyside Toyota's project was approved conditioned upon the Dover Center <br />Road lot being consolidated with the main lot; she recommended approval. Mr. DiFranco said <br />engineering recommends approval. <br />Ms. Meredith 1VIoved, seconded by Mr. Malone, to approve the lot consolidation for <br />CMS12-13 Sunnyside Toyota of 26890 Lorain Road consisting of consolidating PP# 232-25- <br />010 and 232-25-029 into one parcel, which passed 7-0. <br />CMS12-22 Olmsted Unitarian Universalist Church; 5072 Porter Road <br />Proposal consists of a conditional use permit for religious use located in existing home in a <br />residence district.
