?-- ? . <br />BOARI) OF ZONING APPEALS <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MINUTES OF JANUARY 6, 2014 <br />ROLL CALL <br />Ms. Rudolph called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in Council Chambers and led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance. <br />Present: Jennifer Rudolph, Laura Bellido, Michael Raig, Alfredo Lopez <br />Staff: Director of Law Michael Gareau Jr., Planning and Development Director Kim Wenger, <br />Clerk of Council Marie Gallo <br />BOARD ORGANIZATION <br />Ms. Bellido moved, seconded by Mr. Raig, to appoint Jennifer Rudolph as Chair of the <br />Board of Zoning Appeals for 2014, which was approved 4-0. <br />Ms. Rudolph moved, seconcled by Ma-. Lopez, to appoint Mike Raig as Vice Chair of the <br />Board of Zoning Appeals for 2014, which was approved 4-0. <br />REVIEW AND CORREC'TION OF 1VIINUTES <br />Ms. Bellido moved, seeonded by Mr. IZaig, to approve the minutes of November 4, 2013 <br />which passed 4-0. <br />COMMERCIAL APPEALS AND REQUESTS <br />CMS13-46 Courtyard Office Buildiniz; 25118 Lorain Road <br />Proposal consists of a ground sign; the following variances are requested: <br />1. A variance for an additional ground sign is required, code permits 1, applicant shows 2, <br />section 1163.27(a). <br />2. A 90 foot variance for ground signs less than 200 feet apart, code requires 200 ft separation, <br />applicant shows 110 ft, section 1163.27(a). <br />At the request of the applicant, this proposal was tabled to the February 3, 2014 meeting. <br />C1VIS13-47 Fifth Third Bank; 28880 Lorain Road <br />Proposal consists of lighting; the following variances are requested: <br />1. A variance for light trespassing lot line which codes does not permit, applicant shows 5.5 fc <br />along the west property line and 1.9 fc along the northwest property line, section 1161.12. <br />2. A variance for excessive parking lot lighting levels, code requires 4.0 max/0.2 min fc, <br />applicant shows 44.3, section 1161.12. <br />3.
