They will not pave the apron as the city may be doing roadworlc. Mr. Neville said
he was familiar with the home and although the driveway was once asphalt it isn't uncommon to
install a cement drive. Mr. Schuinann said that the owners have done extensive work to maintain
their property and concrete would not change the character of the home or neighborhood. Mr.
Neville asked for clarification as to the distance that would be paved as the plan submitted only
indicated a section of the drive. Mr. Rodriguez said he would pave the entire driveway to the
apron and a section of sidewallc. The new 12 foot wide trench drain in front of the garage passed
city inspection and runs to the back swale to ensure the drive will be properly drained.
Mr. Schumann moved, seconded by 1Vdr. Morse, to approve a certificate of appropriateness
for CMS14-1506; Mark & Jaclcie Rodriguez of 26747 Butternut Ridge Road to replace
existing driveway and sidewallc with new concrete driveway and sidewalk as shown in plan
received 8/11/2014, which passed 6-0.
CMS14-1625; Nicole Akoury; 25747 Butternut Ridize Road
Proposal consists of a certificate of appropriateness for exterior changes.
Tony Samarin said he is in contract to purchase the home and will be closing on the house by the
end of the month or first week of September.
