The front entrance of the Verizon building will
face west. The Uuilding will not meet front setback requirements of 75 feet from Brookpark
Road, as the building was designed to align with other existing buildings. It will be constructed
using brick, EIFS and a clear anodized storefront glass system. Material specifications are
required. Landscape islands require irrigation. Parking will be reconfigured around the new
building. The remaining parking layout will be maintained and both sites will have sufficient
parlcing. There are various access easements with the mall in place. The applicants were asked to
address parking lot resealing and refreshing landscaping for the entire property, however it's not
noted. As there is a possible tenant for the former Remington, staff was content to wait for other
improvements in relation to lot resurfacing and lighting.
